14 Angela stood over him, as he shivered and sweat dribbled down his chest, soaking his t-shirt. She smiled that toothless bleeding gum smile of hers. He closed his eyes and then opened them one at a time hoping she would be gone. It worked on previous occasions, but not this time. As he stared at her, he realised she didn’t have any feet in his hallucination. She stood on bloody stumps. Then he remembered her feet and hands had been chopped off and sold for muti. It made sense he’d remember her that way. He tried to shrug her apparition and the memories off, but she wouldn’t leave him alone.
