15 The sunset and rose once more before the door opened again. Chilikov strode in, wearing a tailored suit that looked like he’d bought it from Savile Row. Why did the bad guys always have to be so well-dressed? Alice wondered. She sniffed herself and realised that a fresh daisy would wilt in her presence. She hadn’t showered in a couple days, plus she smelt of stale cigarettes, and the stench of Andre’s diarrhoea clung to her. Chilikov didn’t even blink at the stink that was permeating the room and its two inhabitants.
