Faceless

She's dreaming again, nasty and scary. She terrified. She doesn't want to. She keeps seeing dark faces appear and disappear immediately. It terrifies her soul and eventually the dark faces overcome her." WHO ARE YOU"..... they whispered scary. She woke up hurriedly stuffing the scream back into her throat, and eyes bulging out in fear. She looked out of the window and saw the rain falling heavily and thunderstorms and lightening. She got up and went to the bathroom, pouring water on her face to calm the heavy temper of fear she passed through in the dream. She looked at herself in the mirror and part of her hair that covers her eyes she whispered" WHO AM I". She looked outside again and saw the sun rising from the East and rain drizzling. She heard her mom call her name, She hurried down for breakfast, picked her bag, hit the door after her mom hurrying not to be late for school this time around. She sat on her chair and dropped her bag beside her. she brought our her text books as the teacher lectures the class. Her phone vibrated. It was a text from her dad. " Hi peanut, don't forget I'll be picking you from school, wait for daddy. love you". she smiles and kept her phone in her bag and listened up. It happened all over again. She sat up, still listening to her class teacher, she saw her book like a vanishing cloud. she became scared and frightened. she wipped her eyes with her hands. she gasped closing her eyes tightly. She looked at her teacher seeing dark shadowed faces and black hood worn on there head, and around her the students were the same. They all had dark invisible faces and the same hood on and a sign of skeleton on there chest. She closed her ears tightly, hearing unpleasant voices and sounds. " What the hell is wrong with me" . She screams frustrated " Laura" . The teacher calls out in surprise. She ran our hurriedly. Everyone walking on the school passage has the wore that strange clothes. She ran pushing people off her way not to get in touch with them. She opened the female toilet locking it from behind. She splashed water on her face, sitting on the floor lifeless. " What's happening" . she kept saying frightened. " Why am I me"...... her voice was shallow. she brought out her glasses and put it on and tucked her hand Inside here sweater. She opened the door and walked out. " What's going on with me". Students whispered. She got more frightened. It was like the world was coming to an end, and the devil ruling. She shrinked herself in, holding her breath. " Laura". "Ahhh..... let go of me, you beast." "Laura. What's wrong with you". "Ahhh! no...... " She fell on the floor crawling away. " Don't touch me. Jesus Christ". she whispered crawling faster. "Laura it's daddy". He said surprised. She stopped and turned towards him. "Daddy, peanut." Those words made her remember. The faceless bodies vanished all of a sudden. " Da-ddy. Oh daddy, thank goodness your here" Hugging him freezing in fear. " Your freezing honey. It's okay, I'm here now". Students whispered passing by. and Ken her close friend stood and watched her from afar. They got into the car drove off . " What happened to you back there" . Her father stole a glare her. " Nothing dad. I don't understand what's happening to me ". "Understand what" " I don't know dad. I just feel strange everyday." "And does your mom know about this". "Not yet". He locked his gaze at her. she looks strange. "you'll go see the doctor". "No I won't". "Yes you would". "I said I won't." "And will you disobey me peanut? I said you would and it's final." She looks our of the window and kids staring at her pitifully. She'll be scared over and over again. She lay on her bed staring our of the window, seeing kids playing football and other games. She wanted to be like them, she just want to be a normal kid. Laura's heart is gonna be like a fadding cloud. She hates watching horror movie even though her cousin George loves them, she would get angry and slam the door. But this time she wondered why scary voice faces keeps visiting her. If it wants to or is looking for someone to scare the hell out off, why not George, his capable of handling things like that. he'll be able to help the fear that covers the area. "Hi Laura". George slams the door hard. "Why are you here"? she asked. " What kind of question is that" . He had hair like curly afro and love wearing pegged jeans all the time. He sat on the chair that beside her bed. " I got a call from from your dad and he hurried me to come over Immediately. And when I got here he asked me if i noticed any strange behavior about you lately." "And did you say anything"?. She sat up hurriedly. "I said yes". George replied smiling. "What, When did you see that George"?. She asked surprised. "Whenever I switched on tv to watch my movie you behave abnormal." "That's because it's horror and it keeps tormenting me everyday I live. The time I could not help to see blood, their screaming and fear. That's what keeps driving me crazy." she yelled. " I don't get a thing Laura. what keeps tormenting you"?He said in a shallow whisper. "You, you and your freaking movie you call horror. Argh.." She walked out angrily. "Me, how did I become a scary movie"? he said surprised. "Come here peanut." Her dad said hugging her pitifully. "Am scared daddy." Her voice was filled with fear " It will be alright sweetie" her mother consoles her. she picked her coat and walked behind her parents into the car. "We'll be back George. Don't do anything stupid". Her father said as he drove off in hurry. "And what seems to be the problem child". The doctor asked. she sighs softly as eventually broke out. "I slept one faithful night and I saw myself in a dark empty room. I moved forward listening to the voice calling me . It was in need of help. Then I saw a person wearing a black hood and a diagram of skeleton on fire. I moved closer and found out the voice was his. But when I stretched my hand to help him out of the hole he was in, by the time he raised his face, it was..... it was....." Her voice tremble in fear. " Say it child, what did you see". "It was faceless. That voice came out from no mouth. It was totally empty." Her voice was bitter." And ever since then everyone around me seems to be faceless. They walk around without a face and that seems to tear me apart.". The doctor checked her closely. "And do you watch horror movies". "No, but my cousin does". "And do you glance at the pictures". "No, not even for a second". "What about listening to stories". " No I don't listen to stories". "Oh , this a big problem on your daughter Mr Robert. It look like she has hallucinations, like a mental illness". " You mean I have mental issue". " Exactly Laura but...." " And can you help me". She broke in almost immediately. "I'll see what I can do about it". He replied. Finally after her check-up. she was assured that her imagination will end. She'll be able to sleep perfectly. But nothing changed. She fell asleep and her mom covered her with her duvet, peaks her switching off the lamp stand. This time around she saw herself in an ancient home filled with pictures of those that lived there from generation to generations. Immediately the lights went out. "Hello" she called moving caustiously. Breeze blew the pictures down and the building turned to an empty surrounding and dry leave stream all over the floor. physical she was sweating and breathing hard. The dream displayed in the physical. An empty face woman appeared and only her grey hair float above her invisible face, and beside her were two dogs of just head but no sense organs. No eyes, no nose, no mouth. She scream terrified as she try to reflect on what she's just seen, other invisible faces came our from no where dragging her into the ground as it swallowed them up. "Ahhh!!!" she scream waking up from the terrifying dream. she puts on the light walking into the bathroom. she sprinkled water on her face. she looked at her hand and saw marks on them. It's exactly the same marks on the old shadow. she thought. she sprinkled water and walked out. Her window is opened. "How did that happen". she asked herself. She walked closely apparently alarmed , hearing a voice of a cat. " What's a cat doing out by this time" . She saw red eyes in the woods a distance away. She looked closer and closer. it seems frightening as the reflection of the eyes came closer, the movement of trees and a gust of wind blew. She was frightened. She closed the window hurriedly and looked back. "Ahhh!!!!. " She screamed. she fell face down on the floor moving back quickly. The faceless head she saw in her dream was absolutely real Her scream echoed. "No..... no...... please." She cried. The faceless body came closer touching her on the cheek saying. "Your faceless.... You're me .. it's MAMA ...". Immediately her parents ran in, it vanished. She hugged them tightly. Her eyes bulged. "It's okay honey". She sobbed in fear looking out of the window. On it wrote. " I'll be back. Your Me. " She could actually read their language. She got more terrified and the eyes she saw was gone. She looked at her bed and was scared to lay on it for the rest of the night. She'll keep on seeing them every day and every life God bless her with. She holds her dad tightly as the name echoed in her head" MAMA".
