The Beginning

It was a sunny day when a black haired young boy, Levi, was going home, enthusiastic to read the newest chapter of his favourite manga. He entered his house and rushed to his room, forgetting to greet his mother. His mother sighed and shook her head. Levi dropped onto his bed and started reading the manga. He became engrossed into his story when a little girl with flowing white hair to her shoulders and bright blue eyes entered his room. She smiled softly and asked, "What are you reading?" "Leave me alone, mom!" he said before realizing the voice sounded different from his mother's. He turned around and saw the girl, a sarcastic smile placed on her face with an aura of destruction behind her. Sweat beads began falling from Levi's head as he said, "Nanika, this is a misunderstanding." "Oh, don't worry, I understand everything," she said before screams of pain flooded the room. 5 minutes later, Levi and Nanika were sitting outside on a bench, a huge bump being found on Levi's head. Nanika, with a playful grin, asked, "So what are we doing now?" "You came to my room and forced me out here and now, you are asking me what game we should play. What have I done to you to deserve this? "So, hide and seek? Okay. I am going to hide right now. Don't think of running away," Nanika said, as all that Levi just said entered one ear and came out the other. Levi sighed heavily as Nanika left to hide He sat on the bench as he contemplated on whether he should leave to continue his manga or look for Nanika. Then, he remembered the events that occurred some few minutes ago and shivers run down his spine as he realized he couldn't mess with Nanika. A few minutes passed, then an hour, then two, then by the time Levi realized, the sun began to set and Nanika still couldn't be found. He got tired and sat on a bench, wondering where Nanika could be. Suddenly, he heard the siren of an ambulance and went towards the noise. There, he saw Nanika's body lying on the road, lifeless. His blood run cold as he viewed her lifeless body in shock. He could not believe his eyes, yet he couldn't deny what he was seeing. He knelt on the ground as tears began streaming down his face as he muttered "Nanika, is it you?" In another dimension of pitch darkness was Nanika. She looked around and wondered where she was since she found no one and nothing, just a vast expanse of darkness. Suddenly, a man, probably middle aged, with a black hoodie covering his head, walked towards Nanika, with his head slightly tilted downwards, causing Nanika to not really see this man's face. Nanika continued to look at him calmly and saw his skin to be completely normal from a regular person. The man skin was red and it felt weird for Nanika since she had never seen a red skinned person before. The man walked up to Nanika and Nanika decided to ask, "Mr. Red man, please where are we." The man stayed silent as a small but conspicuous grin formed on his face. Nanika realized something was wrong and reflexively took a step back. The demon slowly took of his hoodie, revealing his face to Nanika. Blood red eyes, a grin and two horns rooting from the top of his forehead upwards. The man finally said "Don't worry little girl, my name is Agony and I am here to help you go to Andresia." Nanika looked at this... Agony and decided to believe his words. She said "Okay, Mr. Agony, but I will not be going with you Andresia. I am going back home." "I wonder why you would say that. You have already died, after all." "I understand that I have died, but if it is possible, I have to go back. At least I have to fulfill the promise I made to my friend." Agony had an amused expression on his face as he said "I can help you get back, but you will go back as a ghost. Furthermore, the angels will be visiting regularly, planning on taking you back to Andresia, either by persuasion or by force." "I understand." She said with unwavering determination. Agony finally said to her, "Okay, get ready. You will be going soon." Suddenly, a blinding light fell on Nanika as she was transported back to Gaia. Agony turned around and murmured to himself, "Gaia, don't worry, for my coming and your destruction is near." He then he closed his eyes and he saw a faint image of Nanika on earth. He then continued, "Little girl, don't fail me."
