After the loving evening with Alexis, Harriet decided to explore her home town, she actually realised she hasn't gone farther than the hotel, bookshop or her house since she arrived. After her drunk message to Louise, her phone has been blowing up like crazy with calls and messages from Louise. Harriet hasn't been replying because why, why would she be reaching out now? Especially after what she put her through. After all she broke Harriet first, she entered a small mall that was located in town and began looking around, maybe she could buy some new things from here. The shops weren't crazy busy like London, which she found amazing. To shop in piece, only a few fans came up and asked for a photo. She heard someone call her name, a voice she would recognise from a mile away, "Harriet," the voice called again. Harriet turned around to see Louise standing their, her eyes widened. She couldn't believe Louise was here, Harriet took a deep breath and walked over towards Louise. "What do you want?" Harriet asked, her tone was cold and a little harsh. Louise looked up and placed her palm on Harriet's cheek causing Harriet to flinch from the touch. “Your message scared me, I came to see if you were alright. I heard over the news you came here. Why here in all places?" Louise asked, her nose scrunched up a little. Harriet scoffed, she hasn't changed one bit since they broke up. Even though it wasn't that long, she thought Louise would have changed a little. "Wow you really haven't changed have you?" She didn't wait for Louise to answer before continuing, "Why not? Not everyone knows me here and I quite think it's a cute little town." Louise scoffed, "Don't fool me, I know you aren't over me and I'm not over you." Louise's hands gently smoothed over Harriet's chest. Harriet closed her eyes shut and inhaled deeply, "Why did you break up with me then?" Harriet asked. Louise moved closer towards Harriet and gently began kissing her neck, people walking by just thought they were a couple and walked past them. "I was worried, that you were leaving me, you were working so many late nights and I needed you," Louise spoke as she continued to kiss the nape of Harriet's neck. Harriet breathed heavily, "No, I would never have done that too you, I was working late on my surprise for you. I was always there when you needed me and you know it." Louise smirked, "I still turn you on don't I?" She asked. Harriet bit her lip, before placing her hands in front of her and gently shoved Louise away, "Of course you do, I loved you Louise more than anything in the world but you broke me." "We can work this out, come on, please don't break my heart," Louise spoke. Harriet chuckled as she stared coldly at Louise, "Don't forget you broke me first, now if you'll excuse me. I'm going to go see my friend." Louise scoffed and stomped her foot before storming away. Harriet sighed, Louise was lying and Harriet knew that, she only came here because Harriet got drunk and screamed messaged her. Harriet knew that only Alexis’s bookshop could calm her down, that's where she headed too. Alexis was rushing around trying to fill everyone's orders done while restocking and serving customers at the little cafe area. She was run off her feet today and didn't even notice Harriet walking in. Harriet's eyes widened as she saw how busy the place was, she could see the stress on Alexis face. “Do you need some help Ariana?" Harriet asked. Alexis looked up at the sound of Harriet's voice and smiled warmly, "Are you sure? I don't want you to overwork yourself." Harriet shook her head, "No it's fine, it seems you need a hand, how about I work the coffees and you do the rest." Alexis sighed in relief and hugged Harriet, smelling her sweet perfume as she did. Almost melting into Harriet's hold. Once they stopped hugging, Alexis rushed over to the counter and began serving again. Once the rush died down, she collapsed onto the couch with Harriet following her. She noticed the red mark on Harriet's neck. "What happened here?" Alexis asked, she didn't want to feel jealous but she couldn't help it. Harriet sighed, "My ex, she came to see me here. I drunk messaged her the other day. She kept trying to say she wanted me back, but I knew I couldn't handle it. She tried getting me to say yes while kissing my neck. I didn't though, she doesn't deserve me. Especially seeing her, made me realise that I might have found someone better." Alexis felt deflated as Harriet said this, "Oh I wonder who she is," she whispered. Harriet smirked and leant forward, she gently moved Alexis face so she could face her. "Maybe this'll help," Harriet whispered, her hot breath on Alexis lips. She couldn't help but smile before Harriet leaned in and kissed her lips, tasting her cherry lipstick. Alexis’s lips moulded with Harriet's as they kissed, her arms wrapped around Harriet's neck allowing her to move a little closer. After a few moments, they pulled away. Alexis bit her lip and giggled. She turned to see a girl standing in the corner of the shop, she had short brown hair. Her mouth was dropped. "This is the women who is better than me?" She shrieked. Harriet smirked and nodded, "Yes Louise, Alexis is 10 times better than you." "Oh so that is Louise" Alexis thought as she stared at Louise, she actually was beautiful. Louise huffed, "You'll come crawling back to me when you are done with.... her," her face looked Alexis up and down with disgust before leaving the book shop.
