Hers Forever

Living in a small town, Alexis knew it wasn't the best place to find a date especially since she was lesbian, most of the girls in her hometown were straight. Coming out wasn't as bad as she thought, her step father was very supportive along with her mum and her older brother Bradley. Alexis did however lose some friends and other family members in the process but she knew, they weren't true friends if they didn't want her to be happy. She knew she liked girls when she was in year 9 as she was attracted too the senior girl Miley. Later on Miley and Alexis started to date, but it didn’t last long, after she was told by Miley it was a dare to get her to fall for her. 10 years later Alexis opened her own bookshop/cafe just on the outskirts of town. It was a cute little place and everyone loved stopping by, young, teenager, adult and the elderly. She had a wide range of books and even had a shelf dedicated to those who just wanted to read and escape. Her shelves were always updated with new books. Her book shop was named Dragons keep. Alexis was humming to tunes, playing on the radio as she stored away the books she had just received not to mention, restocking the fridge with a variety of different milks and beverages. Also her home made treats for everyone who comes in, she loved to share goodness. Meanwhile Harriet groaned as she woke up in a hotel room, it's been a few days since Louise broke up with her. Harriet had no idea why, Louise didn't give her an answer when she asked. She looked over at her bedside and saw some paracetamol which she took before standing up. After Louise broke up with her Harriet knew she needed a few days to herself and what better than to head somewhere, where no one knew her name. She loved her fans but when she was in a state, she couldn't help but be mean and she didn't want her fans to see her mean side. She got dressed and packed her back, before leaving the hotel. Lightning a cigarette as she stepped out of the hotel room. Harriet closed her eyes as the warmth of the smoke filled her mouth. A shy tear fell from her eyes as she sniffled, she checked her phone to see if she had an notifications but there weren't any. Once she was done with her cigarette, she placed it into the smoke bin and headed to her Land Rover. Unlocking it, she decided to head into the town that was nearby. She started the car and backed out of the car park, placing it into first gear once she was back far enough and drove onto the road. She hummed along to the radio as it played, her sunglasses placed over her eyes as she drove towards town. Once she found the perfect spot to park, she took it turning the engine off. As soon as she stepped out, she heard a flash making her wince in the sunglasses. Great they followed her here. "Harriet Styles, can you give us an update on why Louise broke up with you?" The paparazzi asked as they snapped pictures. Harriet held her hand over her face as she walked ignoring them, she always found it crazy how they knew about something when no one told them. But she also knows words spreads quickly when you are a celebrity. Harriet hurried her pace before walking into a book shop, she took off her glasses and took a deep breath. "Hello and welcome to Dragon's Den," Harriet heard a voice. She looked up to see a girl with long brown hair tied in a ponytail, she wore a crop top and jeans. A touch of makeup but not much so it would stand out. "Do you mind if I hide in here for a bit, paparazzi are crazy?" Harriet asked. "Of course, would you like a coffee while you wait?" Alexis asked. Harriet smiled, "I would love too, my name is Harriet and yours?" "I'm Alexis," Ariana replied with a smile as she walked to the cafe area. "What coffee did you want?" "Can I have a latte with 1 sugar?" Harriet replied. She couldn't believe how beautiful Alexis was, and how nice she was. Alexis made the latte doing some latte art giving her a flower well a rose latte art before walking it over to her. "Here you are, if you want a cake or anything let me know okay," Alexis replied placing down the latte Harriet couldn't believe her eyes, the latte was amazing even the latte art was great. She didn't want to drink it because it'll ruin the art. Harriet sighed softly as she finally decided to drink the latte, she watched as Ariana stocked shelves and served customers. She even helped the elderly look for a book. "Alexis, have you found a girl yet?" Barbra asked her. "Not yet, I'm still working on it Barbra. How's your husband Dave going?" Alexis asked. "Oh, he's getting better slowly thought I lost him there for a second," Barbra admitted. Alexis frowned softly before giving her a hug, "Did you want a cake before you go for be grandkids? On the house?" "Oh that'll be wonderful darling but I can't just have you give it for free," Barbra spoke. She shook her head and walked over to the cake display and picked out 5 slices for her 3 grandchildren, Barbra and Dave. "Here," she smiled gently Harriet watched the whole thing, she couldn't help but smirk when Barbra asked if she found anyone yet, she couldn't believe though that Alexis was gay. But that would also explain why she is so hot. Harriet licked her lips before finishing her latte off,, "Thank you," she told Alexis before slipping her a bill and her number. "Call me, sometime."
