Over the next few days, Harriet couldn't get her mind off of Alexis. She did hope she would call her, she bit her lip knowing it could have been a shitty move and to forward. On the other note she didn't know if she was stable enough to be with someone new.
She scrolled through her i********: as she saw her ex girlfriend Louise, out with friends laughing and partying. Harriet didn't understand how she could be so happy, did the last 3 years not matter?
She sighed looking through the bedside draw at the hotel room, where she pulled out a box. You see Harriet was going to ask Louise to marry her, she had an entire evening set but Louise broke up with her before she could even ask.
Harriet really tried working her job with her relationship and always made it where Louise came first, Harriet sighed before walking over towards the mini bar, where she grabbed a bottle of rum out of the fridge. Harriet downed it all feeling the sensation fill her body.
She didn't need anyone, hell no. She was fine on her own. Harriet scrambled through her bag where she pulled out a bag of cocaine, she managed to get some from a friend of hers before she came here in case she needed it.
Today Harriet did, she was never one for this especially after a breakup, but this one hurt more than anything. She laid the cocaine on the table, kneeling in front of it, she rolled up a piece of paper.
Harriet took a deep breath in, this was very daunting but exciting at the same time, she held one end of her nose before breathing up the cocaine, Harriet gasped as she held her nose for a few seconds.
She started to feel a sensation come over her body, as she did one more shoot through her nose. Harriet finally built up the courage to do something she wanted to do to Louise.
She brought out her phone and tapped on Louise's number. She furiously typed on the keyboard of her phone, not caring what it sent. Tears streamed down her face as she did.
Louise: HOW DARE YOU LEAVE ME! After everything we have been through, you decide to call it quits and why. Tell me what I did to make you feel so alone and helpless. Was it all a lie? Because you aren’t feeling sad about it at all.
Harriet through her phone against the wall as she whimpered covering her face as she cried. It wasn't long until Harriet began to feel tired only to hear her phone go off. She didn't even look at the contact before answering.
"Hi Harriet, it's Alexis from the bookshop, how are you?" She asked over the phone, she was finally able to close up for Lunch.
It's been a hectic day today, especially with Harriet fans knowing she was there. For some reason Alexis voice soothed Harriet, she sighed of the other end.
“Oh I'm alright, having a rough day. How are you?" Harriet asked.
Alexis couldn't help but smile on the other end as she twirled her pony tail with her hands.
"I'm not too bad, I'm sorry you are having a rough day. I actually called you to see if you wanted to come with me to a party."
Harriet thought about it for a few seconds, "party for who?" She asked.
Alexis couldn't help but giggle softly on the line, "Well I'm actually having a little celebration tonight at my place. It's my annual party night tonight and I thought it'll be a great way to sort of get to know each other."
Harriet heard her giggle and it made her body feel weak, or was that the cocaine, "Sure I'll love to come tonight," she never turned down a party especially if someone as hot as Alexis was hosting it. "Just send me the address, what time and I'll be there."
She smirked, yes. She was really nervous about asking Harriet sort of out. Yes she lied about the party but she grew nervous around hot girls.
“It will start at 7:30. I'll hang up and send you my address. I'll see you tonight Harriet."
Biting her lip as she hung up, she opened her messages and sent Harriet her address. She looked over to her left, to see her older brother Frankie giving her a look.
"What?" She asked.
"You had to come up with a party to ask her out?" Bradley asked with a laugh.
"Have you seen Harriet Styles and how hot she is, I couldn't just ask her out. Plus she's just gotten out of a seriously relationship," Alexis replied.
To be honest Alexis had no idea who Harriet was until she searched her up last night and found out everything.
Bradley shook his head and laughed, "So, who cares if she has just come out of a relationship. Geez sis, you need some help and big brother Bradley is here to help."
Alexis laughed loudly before shoving her brother away, before standing up to chuck her lunch packet in the bin and re opened the store. Bradley headed towards the cafe, which he helps out too sometimes.
Later that night, Alexis had gotten everything set up, she had take out menus placed on the coffee table, with some snacks and drinks already just in case. She had some music playing, she was knocked out of her thought when she heard the door open. She checked herself in the mirror.
Checking herself out, she looked really hot in this outfit, even though it was just an oversized jumper. Alexis headed over to the door and opened to reveal Harriet. She was wearing a leather jacket, a cropped black rose n guns t-shirt with ripped black jeans.
Alexis gulped as she looked Harriet up and down, she felt her mouth watering a little, she cleared herself, "Please make yourself at home."
"Thank you," Harriet said stepped inside the house, where she looked around and frowned as no one was there, "Where is everyone?"
She bit her lip, "I maybe lied about the party."
Harriet groaned and rolled her eyes, "So you dragged me here for what! For some s*x and leave, where you can tell everyone you shagged Harriet Styles?" She asked, anger filled her body
Alexis was shocked by her tone and her eyes dropped to the floor, she sniffled a little, "No it isn't like that I swear. I literally had no idea who you were when you came into my bookshop, I actually only looked you up yesterday."
Harriet raised an eyebrow as if she didn't believe her. She gulped again, she played with her hands.
"You see, I have a really hard time asking really hot girls out. I've never been able to find a date, as you probably heard the other day but I just wanted to ask you over to get to know you but since you already have figured me out I guess you can leave," Alexis replied as she looked up at Harriet.
Some stray tears fell from her eyes and Harriet felt heartbroken at the sight.
