"xixi,where are you?" d caller spoke in a deep voice "brother Gu, I'll soon be home,I went out to get a few things" xixi said lazily "ok.."he said"bye" xixi said and hung up. she flagged down a taxi and gave d chauffeur her address before leaning in the seat to take a nap "miss,miss" she felt a tap on her leg with a voice calling her in a whisper "we are here" "oh..give me ur account details" she said coldly as she unlocked her phone.... she looked up at the old building which consists of many condo units and adjusted her baseball hat before stepping in she arrived at d elevator which took her to her parents condo unit,she input the passcode,the door unlocked immediately,she glanced at the neatly arranged living room though it's small but cozy and it's her home after all.. she lowered herself in the old leather couch and lazily closed her eyes as some memories seeped into her head.. FLASHBACK 3 days ago xixi was waiting for mei ling and mei yong which are her foster parents to come and pick her up from school as mei yong just got promoted at work and had called xixi that they are going to have a family dinner In a fancy restaurants to celebrate.. she lazily lean in the school fence as she awaits their arrival.. she heard a commotion going on ahead but she was uninterested, suddenly a car which had lost control was coming for her as the driver kept trying not to hit her and he suceeded and crashed into the telephone pole right beside her "xixi..." she heard a low voice called her in a whisper,if not for her hearing sense she would not have heard it at all. her pupil constricted as she recognized d voice"mom...dad...is that u?" she rushed to the car trying to open the doors,the car was badly damaged"xixi..run...go" mei yong screamed with his remaining strength as soon as he finished talking ,d car exploded and threw xixi 5 metres awaY from the spot before she stabilized herself" dad...mommy...nooo"she whispered as she ran to the spot,people gathered around and try to pull her back and console her, someone even called the ambulance the emergency team arrived with the fire fighter and started clearing things up xixi stood on that spot like a cold statue without moving for the whole day as she refused to be carried away by the emergency team....
