Mary had finally made her move. For some reason, Robert's words triggered this thought in Natalie's mind.
Marianna stood up abruptly. "What happened? Explain everything!"
Marianna and Reginald had planned to secretly send Emma abroad for reflection in the next few days, but somehow, Mary had caught wind of it.
"The Queen Dowager refused to let Emma go abroad. She said she would take Emma to her side and personally educate her," Robert said.
Marianna's face tightened. "All these years, she has been controlling everything in the palace. I've tolerated her because she's an elder. Now, she even wants to interfere in how we discipline our own daughter. I will never agree to this!"
Robert quickly said, "The Queen Dowager should be in Emma's bedroom by now."
