"What are you doing here?" Robert asked, his tone icy as he stared directly at Edward.
Edward ignored him, keeping his gaze fixed on Natalie. "Is your stomach bothering you?"
Natalie blinked, looking between Robert and Edward. Finally, she nodded hesitantly. "A little, but it's much better now." 'Does he know about the baby or not?' she wondered. 'What happened while I was unconscious?'
Edward looked at her intently, as if he wanted to say something. But before he could, his phone rang. It was Jonathan.
"Mr. President, you have an important meeting with the Prime Minister of Belvaria in 20 minutes."
"I'm aware," Edward replied, hanging up.
Despite the call, Edward didn't leave. Instead, he walked directly over to Natalie's bedside.
Robert reacted immediately. "Hey! Don't push it!"
