Vivian covered her face in disbelief and stammered, "H-How is this possible?!"
Lucy looked like she'd been punched square in the face. She screamed, "This can't be happening!"
The nearby employees started murmuring among themselves, "Kate has always been the spokesperson for the CEO. Every decision from Madam Lilith is usually announced by Kate. There's no way she'd mistake someone else for the CEO!"
"Oh my God, we really got it wrong! That lady is our actual CEO!"
Hearing this, Vivian and Lucy turned even paler.
"Move aside!" Kate barked at the security guards as she rushed to Natalie's side, her voice filled with guilt. "Are you okay, darling? I'm so sorry! My phone died, and the traffic was a nightmare."
Natalie shook her head and said, "It's okay. You got here just in time."
