Igor’s POV My hands clutched at my heart as I tried to steady my breathing, hoping that if I could, then maybe I could stop the beast from taking over. This was the first time it wanted to surface without the full moon’s presence, rushing out into the forest while breathing so hard, almost like recovering from a panic attack. My chest felt tighter, and I could feel my claws already elongated. I ran deep into the forest, hoping to slow down my heart and still keep the beast at bay.
