Elena's Pov My heart was beating fast. I knew today was the day were my mate would be chosen.Being an omega ranked at the lowest bottom of hierarchy, I wasn't excepting anyone of importance.Every breath felt like ice in my lungs,and still my heart refuse to slow.But I pushed myself up anyway,forcing my beating heart to steady. The screaming and knocking started before I was even fully awake. "Look at her.She actually thinks she's worthy of a mate."Lizzy,one of the pack's most beautiful girls,didn't bother lowering her voice. "An orphan omega? Please," her friend snorted. "She should be In the kitchen where she belongs." My eyes snapped open and I noticed the crowd parting,wolves stepping back almost out of will and then I saw him. The Notorious Famous Alpha Igor Volkov. He walked forward with the confidence of a million people and had never doubted his place in the world. Tall,broad-shouldered,and devilishly handsome.His dark hair caught the light,but it was his glowing eyes that held me enchanted.They glowed with an authourity that made my wolf withdrew and bow inside my mind. "What going on here Luca?"His voice was low,deadly calm. Alpha Luca's head dropped immdiately. "Alpha,they we were just...." "You were just what?"Alpha igor's gaze cut to him,sharp as a sword. Heat pulsed between us,wild,untouched and untamed and absolutely perfect. His eyes widened as they glowed brightly.His breath caught,and his whole body went stiff."
