“Ana!” my father shouted as I stepped inside the house at 3 AM. I tried to come quickly, but it was a long way back from the resort, and I wasn’t ready to distance myself from Adrian.
I flinched as my father spoke. His voice contained anger, and his eyes sparkled with fury. I couldn’t blame my parents for being angry at me. Just a few weeks ago, I was taking drugs. They had all the right to stop me.
