Alone

Ben      I was on my way to a concert with a group of friends. I was holding my girlfriend in the back seat and Esmerelda was back here with us. Tom and Jasmine were in the front and Tom was driving. We arrived at the concert and waited to go inside. My girlfriend, Sarah, pulled out a pack of cigarrettes. "Want a smoke" she asked, "na" i responded. I wasn't a smoker but i still wanted to stick around my girlfriend. Better then watching Tom in his desperate attempts to not be alone.        I kinda felt sorry for the guy. He got dumped last weekend and he was coping by being excessively slutty lately. The doors to the venue finally opened. Sarah and I were about to walk in until a man stopped us. "Hi im Angelo would you like me to buy you guys some beers so we can have a good time?". We both looked at eachother and nodded yes at him. When we got in he went to the bar to grab us some beers. He came back with the beers shortly and we drank away. We decided to go regroup with the people we came with.         The crew was setting up for this band called The End of Silence. I've never heard of them but Angelo came up with some more beers. "hey this is my friend Jakes band" he commented, "what does he play?" I asked. "He plays drums and he's a pretty kick ass drummer". Tom pulled me and Angelo over "are you guys moshing?" he asked. That wasn't even a question for me but i told him, " of course". When we finished our beers i kissed Sarah and told her i was going to the mosh pits. The whole first show was a blur and then in between bands i just waited in the pits recovering. I moshed through the 2nd band as well that was also a blur as well.          After the 2nd show i went to the front looking for Sarah but i couldn't find her anywhere. I thought maybe she went to the bathroom or something so i headed that way. Tom stopped me in a panic "dude im in deep s**t I accidentally fell into this buff guys girlfriend", " What do you want me to do about it" i asked apathetically. " Get my back"  he said with a face of desperation. "Look dude im not getting my ass kicked for your mistakes". Tom left the venue after that conversation.         After that i went to look for Sarah in the back hall. I walked up the hall and saw her making out with Angelo. My heart fell in despair as i ran for the doors of the venue. They finally looked up and saw me running down the halls. "Ben!" she yelled. I made my way through the crowds to the front doors and Sarah caught up. "Ben" she said in tears. "Just get away from me" i ran out of the doors. I decided to take a walk around the block and take my mind off things til the last band was finished. Then for the awkward ride home.         I didn't want anyone to know where i was. I just needed to be alone at the moment. My mind was cursed with that image burnt into my skull. She was the only one i've loved for 2 years now and now her faith in me was proven. She threw it all away within seconds. An hour passed and i figured id make my way back to the car where Tom was. I decided to cut through the alleyway. I was right at the back doors of the venue and a man came out the door with a knife. " Gimme your money!" he shouted aggressively. I pulled my 10 dollar bill from my wallet and he said to himself "thats not enough". He stuck his knife into my stomach and ran up the alley way to the parking lots. "Tom!" i tried to shout but i felt my lungs compressing with every second. I had no air to scream so i crawled up the alleyway. I was right at the sidewalk and i reached out putting my hand in the light of the sidewalk with my final breath.
