What was that sound? I tried searching for it but everywhere was dark. The beeping of an ER machine?
Was I in the hospital? Wait…. was I dead? Or worse…. blind?
I almost panicked then suddenly I felt a sharp pain at the back of my head.
“Urrgh, my head hurts.”
I thought to myself as my eyes flickered open to a bright light that threatened to actually blind me.
Placing a hand on my head, I sat up slowly, recollecting the events that brought me here.
