"Princess, are we really supposed to pack and leave?" Several maids looked at Princess Elizabeth worriedly. They were Elizabeth's personal maids, and they had accompanied her for man years, yet they had never seen her so absentminded before. She seemed as if she had lost her soul as she sat there in a daze. "How long have we been away from the palace for?" Elizabeth asked softly, as if she were talking to herself. "We've already been away for a year, princess," one of her maids answered. "It's been a year, it's about time we go back," Elizabeth said. Her maids asked, "But don't we..." Elizabeth shook her head helplessly as tears rolled out of her eyes. After waiting for a year, maintaining the insignificant promise on her own, it had all turned out to be merely a dream.
