Mike growled in a deep, menacing voice and gritted his teeth as he granted them access to his consciousness. He braced himself for their assessment.
"Buzz!" The powerful wave of light dissipated abruptly as the energies returned to the statues of the ancient kings. Darkness engulfed them as the dazzling lights faded away. A prolonged and deathly silence followed.
The trial was pretty short this time around. There was no intense discussion. The ancient kings fell silent once more.
