A sensation of excruciating pain had woken Mike up. He felt unbearable pain in his muscles, blood vessels, and bones. It was as if his entire body was continually pricked with needles, causing his body to convulse. Even though he was half-awake, he could sense that his body was weak and that he was feeling dizzy.
He felt extremely uncomfortable.
Mike raised his heavy eyelids and looked listlessly.
He saw a sea of bones lying on the ground. They looked like tiny little stones. These bones included human-shaped skeletons with missing arms and legs, giant skeletons that were more than ten meters in length, huge broken skulls as well as ribs that were fifty to sixty meters in length. The vast expanse of bones gave one the impression that one was looking at a snowscape.
