Mike withdrew himself a few hundred meters from the group of vicious snakes before inspecting his body attentively.
"My Spiritual Power, it's gone! Where is it?"
Mike broke out in a cold sweat and was tempted to utter profanities. His Spiritual Power had vanished. Moreover, his Qi center was exhausted and his meridian was depleted. Thunder Toad and Asura Knife sat quietly in his drained Qi center.
"What do you mean 'it's gone'?" The lord asked.
"'It's gone' means it's gone. It's all gone," Mike thought he was hallucinating. He closed his eyes and adjusted his breathing to calm himself down. Perhaps he had gone delusional. Unfortunately, it wasn't an illusion. He checked and double-checked, but he found nothing. His Spiritual Power seemed to have evaporated into thin air.
