CHAPTER FOURTEEN Sunday morning I didn’t wake up until nine, which surprised me; both Friday and Saturday I’d been up before dawn. I spent the day feeling low on energy, with my only excursion being to wander through the Limahuly Gardens and gaze sightlessly at the different plant species found on the island, many of them endangered.
