“You two are not taking this seriously, I need to talk to Mr knightly then” Ethan glares at me with Josh
“No sir, please we can uh we can sort this out?” I say trying my best puppy eyes
“It's not our matter that we could sort out you are not-”
“I can babysit your daughter” I blurted out
He frowns at me “Babysit?”
I nod glancing at Josh who is confused “Well you can have your time alone with your beloved wife while I can babysit Sarah for a day” I shrug
He narrowed his eyes “Are you blackmailing me?”

He thinks for a second “Okay then, only this time I'm letting you both go”!
I sigh in relief muttering a ‘yes’
“Now go shoo away” Ethan walks into the cabin leaving us here
I squealed “Thank God we were saved from getting fired” I looked at Josh
“You really can handle that little monster?”
He raises his eyebrow
“She can't be that bad” I smiled
“Oh she is” he nods pursuing his lips
He put his hand on my shoulder “Good luck with that” and walked away

I type away on my laptop focusing my eyes on it biting my lip and then taking my cup and sipping my coffee
“Oh my God” Emma started by saying
I glance at her still typing “What is it, Emma?”
“Mike Knightly’s son is returning here after many years, and people are saying he doesn't like to talk at all some say he is allergic to people,” she tells me the tea of the day
“What’s the name of the arrogant man then?”
I smirk
“Shh” she gives me an eye look “if that donkey Ethan hears you he will fire your ass”
Looking around to make sure he doesn't hear her
“What is the gentleman’s name?” I ask with a smile trying my best not to curse

“I don't know but he was in Italy back few years, rumors say that he used to be the CEO here because of some personal matters his dada AKA Mike Knightly told him to shift there and now he is returning
My mouth turned into an ‘O’ shape as I nod
“Hey and I wanted to ask if there is this party Nathan here is throwing it his birthday,” she says
Oh, I forgot his birthday nah man, he remembered my birthday as he had been counting the days when. It will be there
Even when it was four-month left he started telling me how many days were left I awkwardly always smiled at him

I wake up to Nathan where he is sipping his coffee
“Oh Hi, Nathan, Happy birthday” I smiled at him
He grins widely blinking at me “Chloe thanks”
“Mhm I just got to know that you are throwing a birthday party” I nod toward Emma
He looks there for a second then nods and smiles “Yes I would love it if you could join. And please do or else I will reschedule”
“No, I am gonna join” I take out my phone and turn it toward him “Please write the address and timing”

“What? It'll look good on you” She throws her arm above her head
I shake my head at her
No way I'm wearing that see-through skin dress, never happening
She groans and closes her cupboard “Fine wear whatever suits you more which also-”

Choosing between my dresses I chose the black elegant dress that hugged my body perfectly I came down my knee
Doing my little bit of makeup I wear my heels and my black earrings
I turned towards Emma who looked smoking hot in those short skirts and tank top
“Woah girl go off,” I say looking at her
She grins squealing “And you got off the bridge you looked amazing, I don't even know if that sentence has any meaning but it fits” She shrugs and comes to hug me tightly
We got into my car, and Emma connected her Bluetooth and started playing the songs

She practically shouted the lyrics and did some dance moves in the car
I laugh at her as I drive towards the club looking at the location on my mobile
We reached there about 15 minutes parking my car by the side
Walking towards the club I saw Nathan standing there he was wearing a blue t-shirt with dark blue jeans he waved at us
“Hi girlies” turning towards me “You look amazing” he looked at me
I smile “Thank you, Nathan”
“Hey I am also standing here” Emma points at herself then twirls around
He glances at her for some time then nods “You look….okay” which earns a slap from Emma on his shoulder
“Ow ow, I meant you look gorgeous”
She winks “That's what I wanted to hear
From the moment we entered inside smell of strong alcohol hit my nose people dancing on the dance floor while some were at the bar
Nathan takes us to the empty couches we settle down, I nod my head at the song

“Pink Martini,” Emma says
The drink arrives in a while as we grab our glasses sitting back down I look around the club and many of them are drunk
“Excuse me I am going to the restroom,” I told them making my way toward the washroom
After freshening up in the restroom I hum the song and walk toward our seats
My eyes widened at the sight in front of me when I saw Nathan and Emma making out, Emma on his lap while they kissed each other
I clear my throat and they push each other off
Emma pushes him with so much force that he falls off the couch falling on his Butt
I pursue my lip trying so hard not to laugh
“So you both?” I raise my eyebrow at them
“No no Chloe-” Emma started but Nathan cut her off
“It's just for today” he quickly says then glances at Chloe “We made a deal that could you know this for just today and tomorrow we’ll be friends again. Right, Emma.”
“Emma stares at him with shock as if she also didn't know about this
Nathan kicks her foot slightly she clears her throat And nods “Yes that is…..what we surely decided”
I shrug “Cool then I’ll be there at the bar
Taking my drink I take small sips as I sit on the barstool looking around the dance floor
The sing started playing which is my all-time favorite I grin put my drink on the counter and push through my dancing body walking Onto the dance floor
Like a moth to a flame.

I start swaying at the song my hands going around my body as I dance my heart out
When the main chorus plays my hair goes around my face and then at the back as I sway
