Angel POV

I could not believe that my father would say that to my mate and I clung to Kira's shirt as nuzzled into his chest breathing in is scent trying to get myself to calm down. I felt his lips by my ear and what I heard surprised me and made me forget that my father resented saving me that fateful day.

"You are my beautiful Angel and you are not a problem because I already love you." he had whispered in my ear and I was ringing through my head over and over.

I closed my eyes and I opened my mind to Kira, so he could hear my voice and my wolf through our bond.i

Kira, I love you too and you may hear names that my pack called me while I lived here but please let them go because we will start over, my mate. I smiled up at him a bit seeing his face break out in a pure smile as he listened to me before he crushed me into him.

"That is amazing Angel, I didn't know that you could do a mind just like that," Kira murmured in my ear.

I smiled as I silently giggled as I cuddle into his broad chest covering me in his scent to show that I am his. His fingers run through my long hair relaxing me before I smelt a very familiar scent of one of the pack members, that tormented me for years, walked up to our table and I could feel his eyes on me.

"Well, well, well if it isn't the little Snowbird, looks like you are out of your room again does your daddy know because he would not be happy to see that you are mingling with those that are stronger then you especially the Royal Alpha Kira," he said as I turned to see that Nolan was standing there smirking,

I blinked at him confused as I didn't move from Kira's arms before I hid my face away as tears formed in my eyes.

"you do not know the situation that is in front of you as you just jumped to a collision about her not being welcome, but since you have an opinion about her why don't you tell me your name," Kira growled lowly holding me tighter to him.

"Well judging from you position it looks like Snowbird found someone else to stand up for her besides Laurel here. I am Nolan the next in line for the beta position at the Shadow Moon Pack." Nolan snarled at Kira.

"Well that's where you are wrong, she is my mate and you have just insulted the Luna of The Crystal Moon Royal Pack, so your comments about her are not acceptable and you are unwelcome at my pack since you did not welcome Angel the way she should have been." Kira snarled back.

"Did you know that she is a monster our whole pack knows it and its a wonder that her mother didn't eliminate her when she had the chance," he said before walking over to my father and whispers in his ear.

I looked up at Kira hoping that he would not leave me here after hearing those outrages claims that I was a monster when I was not.

"Let's get you changed and packed so that you can get back to where you truly belong my precious Angel," Kira said as he scooped me up bridal style with Laurel showing the way to my room.

All I could do is nod as I saw him look over at his beta Malcolm before both he and his mate got up from the table and headed to the exit to what I would assume was to get the car ready.
