The meeting of the aristocrats ran for a solid two hours, not because of a disagreement, but because they were planning on a way to convince the other aristocrats to support an armistice. Normally, they needed at least ten aristocrats from the lower houses and three from the higher houses in order to seek an audience with the emperor.
