Red:Ruby's Story

It's early Monday morning, I hear my mom calling me. "Red it's time to get up." I groan and roll out of bed and get dressed and head down stairs for breakfast. It's the last week of school and my birthday is Friday. So I'm super excited. My dad is reading his newspaper and drinking his coffee while my mother finishes breakfast. When we sit down to eat I see an article on the front of my dad's newspaper, about the Royal Prince. It says he is coming to town in search of his mate. I start to day dream and think about what it would be like to be a royal."Ruby eat your breakfast before it gets," my mom says breaking me out of my daydream. We finished breakfast and my dad leaves for work, while my mom cleans up the kitchen and takes care of my little sister and brother. I grab my backpack and head out for school "I love you have a great day" mom says before I walk out the door. I yell back "I love you too and don't work to hard",as I climb the steps to the bus and head off for the last week of my senior year.
