Chapter 16- Avarnika's Past!

Avarnika POV:-

" Oh, so you are that rascal's brother who abandoned his child- " Before Gautam could finish his words, Vihaan marched toward us and punched Gautam on his left cheek.

I looked at them with shock.

Vihaan grabbed Gautam's collar and roared, " HOW DARE YOU TOUCHED RATHORE'S DAUGHTER-IN-LAW?

HOW DARE YOU CALL MY BROTHER A RASCAL, YOU BASTARD????

You don't know anything. Still, you are saying rubbish about my family.

Who are you to dare to accuse Rathor's family member? "

I ran and caught Vihaan's wrists and said, " Calm down, bhai sa.

Please bhai sa, leave him. "

Vihaan looked at me with shock, and he released Gautam immediately.

" What... What did you call me? " Vihaan asked while looking at me with happiness.

" Bhai Sa(Brother)! " I replied, and he hugged me immediately.

" Avu, thank you for accepting me as your brother-in-law. I am so happy today. " Vihaan said, and I smiled, seeing him calm.

" Avarnika, he? " Gautam broke our moment and asked.

I broke our hug and turned toward Gautam and said, " Gautam, he is my children's father's brother, Dr.- "

He cut me off again and said, " Dr. Vihaan Smith! "

I nodded. Then I looked at Vihaan and said, " Bhai sa, he is Mr. Gautam Dewan. He is my friend and my boss. "

Gautam looked at me and said, " Oh, so that man is non-other than Mr. Tejashk Rathore, who never showed up in the last two years.

Tejashk Rathore, the son of Dr. Akaash Rathor and The Great Teja Narayan, no, Dr. Lily Smith. "

Vihaan's eyes held rage, and he was glaring at Gautam.

I caught his wrist tightly in my hand to stop him from doing any damage. Luckily, there was no one in the restaurant except the staff and us.

" Yes, Tej is the father of Dhir Rathore and Dhara Rathore. " Vihaan declared.

" Avarnika, he is not a good person for you. He is ruthless and cold-hearted. They never cared about anyone. Please give me a chance. I can give your children a better life. " Gautam said, and I looked at him with a pleading look.

I held Vihaan's hand more tightly because he was going to attack Gautam again.

" Gautam, please stop. Look! I don't want a fight between you both.

I told you already that I want to talk to Mr. Rathore first.

He is my children's father. It's his right.

So, please don't say anything right now. " I said, and Gautam sighed.

" Alright! Don't forget to call me. " Gautam said while glaring at Vihaan, who was already glaring at him.

Gautam left, and the waiter came with the ordered food.

I sighed. Then I looked at Vihaan and asked, " Are you alright with the food? Can we eat this? "

Vihaan closed his eyes and took a deep breath.

" I didn't have any problem. Let's eat. " Vihaan said, and we ate our dinner silently.

When we were done, I was about to pay for dinner. But Vihaan snatched my card and paid for the dinner himself.

He gave me my card back and said, " When your bhai sa is here, why will you pay for our dinner? "

I wasn't in the mood for another argument and asked, " Bhai sa, why are you here? "

His face turned pale a little. He held my hand and led us outside.

Vihaan took us toward his car, and like a gentleman, he opened the door for me.

I sat in the passenger seat, and he sat in the driver's seat.

He started driving and said, " I came to your office to pick you up, but I saw you and your boss together.

So, I decided to follow you to find out the relationship between you too.

I apologize for invading your privacy. But I have trust issues.

So, I wanted to confirm if you are perfect for Tej and the children or not. "

When he was explaining, he didn't meet his eyes with me.

I understood he was feeling ashamed.

" Bhai sa, I can understand your situation.

But I don't understand one thing. Why are you insecure over me? " I asked softly.

He took a deep breath and said, " There is someone who betrayed me and let Tej kidnap me. "

I looked at him with shock and asked, " Who? "

" I have suspicions on one person. But I didn't find any evidence against him till now. " He explained and sighed again.

" Avarnika! " He called my name softly.

I turned to look at him and found guilt in his beautiful brown eyes.

" I am sorry! " He apologized, and I shook my head as a no.

" You don't need to apologize, bhai sa. It wasn't your fault. " I replied, and he sighed in relief.

When I saw he was not going to the way of Anjali's home, I asked, " Where are we going? "

" You will see yourself. " Vihaan replied, and in two minutes, he stopped his car near River Ganga's sitting spot.

It's already 8 pm. So, there is no one here.

We came out of the car and walked near the river.

We sat on the sitting spot. Then, we took out our shoes first and put the legs in the water.

The cold water helped me relieve, and we sighed in relief.

" Avarnika! " Vihaan called me softly.

" Yes, bhai sa? " I encouraged him to say something.

" Today, you said your sister wanted to tarnish your reputation. Why? Why are you living with Anjali and Anjali's family? Where is your family? " Vihaan asked, and I sighed.

I realized it was time to disclose everything.

" Bhai sa, Let's start with my birth time. My parents were happy when I came into their life. My life was perfect. When I turned three, my parents announced that my mother was pregnant. I was very excited to become a big sister to that unborn baby.

When my sister was born, my parents named her Maya.

As time flows, my parents started to love her more and started to ignore me.

She loves me too.

But when her 10th birthday came, my parents threw a big party for her and left me at home alone. They locked the home from the outside.

Suddenly, the light cut off, and I was scared to be in the dark alone.

Suddenly, in fear, I broke a vase, which was expensive and my mother's favorite.

I got so scared that I crawled myself at the end.

Soon, I started to feel suffocation. I didn't realize when I lost my consciousness.

The next time, I woke up to my mother who threw cold water on me. She was so angry that she threw me outside and locked the door and said, 'You will not going to come in the house the whole night as your punishment for breaking my favorite vase.'

That whole night rain went on. I was standing in front of my house while drenching in the rain.

That day I got unconscious the second time.

When the doctor came, he told them I was claustrophobic and sensitive to the weather.

Since that day, my life turned into hell.

My mother didn't leave any chance to taunt me. My sister, who loved me before, turned against me.

She started to prank me.

Dad always made me like an invisible person.

Time flows again, and her birthday came when she decided to destroy my reputation.

She spiked my soft drink and took me to the third floor. I was conscious at that moment.

So, with difficulty, I left that room but bumped into your brother's room.

He pushed me into his room, and we slept.

I just saw the mark on his back. When I opened my eyes again, he left already. I didn't regret sleeping with him a bit because he made me feel the love I never felt with my own parents.

After one month, I went to talk to my parents as I got a 100% scholarship from my college.

Before I could talk, bile formed in my throat, and I went to the nearest bathroom.

My family saw my condition and told me to do a pregnancy test.

Maya brought three kits for me, and I checked and found out I was pregnant.

They asked me who is the father of my child. I told them the truth that I didn't know anything about him.

But my parents slapped me, and dad dragged me to my room and said to pack my bags and leave their home forever.

I packed my bags, and I left that house forever and came to Anjali's home.

I told them everything, and they accepted me with open arms.

I started college while doing a part-time job in my office.

Gautam was my friend at college too.

The day he found out I was pregnant, he supported me throughout my pregnancy.

He gave me a good amount of salary while I did my best, which helped him earn a fortune too.

Soon the children were born. The delivery wasn't easy at all.

But luckily, children were born naturally.

I caught Gautam's arms so tightly at the time of parturition, but he helped me a lot.

My Uncle and aunt helped me a lot while taking care of the children.

That's how my life was till now. " I said, and he looked at me with moist eyes, which made me so shocked.
