Magical Realms
In the begging upon the dawn of time Man, Beast, and all Magical beings all lived together upon the heavenly world under “Aiglin” The Father Tree. The freedom and disorder of the early land uproar many conflicts.
Man had been created with a hole in his heart; a hole that no possession, power or knowledge could fill. In his infinite greed one man dreamt of expanding his dominion over the entire realm.
One hundred and eleven generations of peace had reigned between the kingdom of Man and the Realm of “Aiglin”; a peace now shattered by king Douglas’ brutal campaign of expansion into the neutral lands of the Magical Realms. Eternal Paradise where men walk with gods, yet were in accord with the beasts of the forests and the mountain wilderness...
Once upon a time a beautiful Queen had a baby boy. When the Witch heard about this she summoned her “Black Knights” to retrieve the new prince and destroy the Kingdom of man.
When the King became aware of this plot to overthrow his Kingdom he dispatched his army of “Red Knights” to confront the threat; but it was to late. The Witch and her army had killed the Queen, yet hope remained in the baby prince who was saved by a swan and escaped out of the nursery window.
King Douglas summoned great powers and lost himself. Gathering men from all the villages, they marched for war. The King led the “Red Knights” to where the Witch lived. Her foresight foretold of the Great Army’s approach, and she gathered all of her creatures from their hiding spots to amass a force powerful enough to repel the threat of man.
When the great armies clashed the ferocious cries shook the realm. King Douglas transformed himself into a giant, able to defeat any magical creature the Witch controlled. The Giant ran through the battlefield, squashing five creatures under one foot, until he confronted the Witch. They fought and the Witch’s magic wand was broken so she couldn’t cast any deadly spells, but the blast of magic it released caused the King to suffer amnesia...
The White Witch controlled the skies with the mind control of a giant green dragon. She carries a staff which she uses to grant spells. The Dragon began as a terror of “The Cliffs of Hope” where the dwarfs of the realm resides. The White Witch cast a spell over the dragon to free the poor dwarfs from being feasted upon.
Once the Witch possessed the dragon she used it to create an Eternal Golden Kingdom upon the highest mountains, far from the now free dwarfs so they may dig for treasure and precious metals. Although this left Odious, a powerful wizard of the South Desert, free to overtake the “Cliffs of Hope” through a poisonous gas that controlled the dwarfs in the tunnels below.
Ruler Odious used the dwarfs as slaves and began to amass a devastating army to rule throughout the Magical Realms.
The Empire forges on. In the Northern lands at the most isolated city in the realm the Mermaids appear from their abyss and lay down the orphan prince on the banks of the sea.
The baby was discovered by a farmer’s wife and taken home to be be cared for. Before he became prince, he lived as a peasant under the shadow of war between two feuding wizards.
One Wizard “Nasfuratu” was the ruler of Fire. He married a black angel of Darkness and begotten a son, “Palmer” who was blessed with the strength of a giant. The other Wizard was “Jargen”, Master of Water. He married a white angel of Light and birthed a daughter “Isabella”. She beheld great powers of subduction with her voice; she would sing and depending on her melody would either paralyze him or stop a man’s heart entirely. This is why the feud began, Jargen didn’t want the arranged marriage to Nasfuratu’s son.
One spring morning when the peasant was a young man he was confronted by the Witch who presented him with a gift of his true fathers long sword and told him a story of the mighty King and his army of “Red Knights”. The brave young man mounted his black stallion. He dressed in black leather boots, thick fur cape with long black hair. With his grey wolf as a companion in battle and his father’s long sword he set out for the palace of the Realm’s Lord.
The young peasant approach Jargen Master of Water and asked to marry Isabella. They agreed, under the condition he would have to kill Palmer, the son of the ruler of fire, Nasfuratu....
In the high mountains the battle took place, where the Wizard’s powers were weak. Jargen assisted the brave young man with a shield, and Isabella encouraged him with a kiss. The young peasant fought bravely, yet it looked grim for him against the ferocious strength of Palmer. Even with his most valiant effort Palmer was overpowering him, destroying his father’s long sword. A final blow was about be dealt when the grey wolf intercepted they attack and was instantly killed. The young man shouted a ferocious war cry, releasing an avalanche that buried the two of them under rocks, trees and snow. The only one to escape the bitter cold grave was the young brave peasant.
Upon his escape and the long journey home to marry Isabella he nearly fell down dead from his wounds when the White Witch confronted him again and foretold his future of becoming Prince. She told him of Odious, a great threat that would cover all the realms with darkness. She mended his wounds and presented him with a magical golden sword empowered with her spirit; the only weapon powerful enough to withstand the dark powers of Odious.
Upon the ceremony of marriage between the young Prince and Princes Isabella, a late comer arrived uninvited. The young Prince had an older brother from his adopted parents. The young boys would play all day catching frogs at the riverbank. When the brother became thirteen he had chosen to venture into the wild on a spirit quest, only to return when he felt he had become an honourable man.
He returned a warrior on horseback with a large axe in his right hand and a long sword on his back. He was dressed in a thick metal chest plate, bear fur cape, and wore a helmet with large ram horns. After the marriage he told the young Prince he would be his ally only if he excepts the Holy Spirit into his heart and his Kingdom. Only then would the Kingdom become mighty and justice would prevail. The young Prince and Princes were in agreement, with Jargen as well, allowing Brother Warrior to bless the new union with a ceremony.
Several new lands were plowed and the Kingdom grew without a looming threat of destruction and death. The king Jargen civilly dismissed Nasfuratu. Being banished from the Kingdom he spent some time in the underworld discovering ancient spells and the masterpiece army constructed by the dwarfs.
The Kingdome grew large and plentiful, yet still lands were yet undiscovered. The King Jargen sent the young Prince to assemble an alliance with smaller tribes.
The young Prince and Brother Warrior mounted up and set out upon their journey. The two were sent down the river into the mighty east lands where they met one powerful Wizard. This Wizard was the ruler of Death, and told the two noble men to beware the powers he possessed through the mighty spells in his book.
The Wizard attacked the young Prince with his decay spell, narrowly missing him, hitting his horse. The Holy Spirit within Brother Warrior frightened the Wizard of Death allowing the two to escape. Inevitably this old magic was inescapable for the Kingdom. The brothers returned to the castle and reported to King Jargen. The Master of Water summoned spells. Within everyone is water, a life force that is constant. Also with Jargen’s wife, the White Angle’s everlasting Light, they constructed a Holy Spirit Book of Life to equally repel the Book of Death.
Possessing this book was the young Prince’s only defence against the Wizard of Death. When confronted by this new book of spells respect grew between the brothers and the Wizard and they joined hands as to become allies. So began the exploration of the wild east lands...
Campaigning through the dence forest the brothers with their newest ally, the might Wizard of Death, confronted a dozen giant trolls resting upon the mountain top and blocking the Northern trails.
Being so large of trolls they do not turn fully into stone upon daybreak, only a top layer of fur and skin grows shrubs and turns to stone. Silently the Noble men gathered water at a glacier and passed through the valley during day light. It would be quite devastating if they were to awaken.
In the new fertile hunting grounds Brother Warrior surveyed the surrounding trails and high ground. The Young Prince and the Wizard of Death were ambushed by a g**g of Ogres. Surrounded they could hardly keep them back.
The Young Prince was hit from behind and was nearly smashed to death by the Ogre Chieftain. If it were not for a surprise axe by Brother Warrior.
The Ogres were being led by a Witch of Ice that rode atop an Ice Gollum. Despite the combined magic of the magical books of Life and Death on their side, it was a devastating battle. If it were not for the Brother of the White Angel of Light’s saving grace.
Wearing saddles of leather, and a golden chest plate, wielding a long sword that made a cross at the end. He flew down to confront the Ice Witch. The White Angel separated the witch from the Ice Gollum and took her high into the sky. The Ice Witch withdrew her spell over the Ogres and the Ice Gollum froze on the spot. The Holy Angel of Light and the Ice Witch disappeared.
Battered and beaten the brothers and ally escaped the disorder of the Ogres. Further down the river into the forest they could go no further without medicine. The Ogres had gotten some wits about them and followed their blood sent. They stood ready for battle, accepting their eminent deaths.
From within the the dense forrest emerged the g**g of Ogres, but from above they were slayed down by a Valkyrie of the forest. Dressed in a green skirt with gold trim, wielding a long chain with razor blades towards the end of it. On her back she had a bow and arrows. She saved the noble men and aided them in finding local herbs to heal their wounds. The Valkyrie took them to her village up North on the island off the coast. A ship fairies them across...
This beautiful island held the temple of the Holy Spirit worshipers, trained in the art of air walking. They moved silently and quickly, able to jump incredible distances. Their mighty ruler kept his trainings secret, but traded in other goods and knowledge, the island held the largest library in all the realms.
The Valkyrie was the daughter of the island ruler. Their custom was tattooing the body. Brother warrior and the Valkyrie “Luna” fell in love and wedded under the full moon. Bonded in faith with the Holy Spirit the ruler and the Holy Spirit worshipers were pleased and they taught him the timeless secret of air walking.
When Brother Warrior returned from the island of the Holy Spirit Worshipers the Young Prince and the Wizard of Death had headed south along the coast to the village of the Gladiators. The Gladiators took no part in aligning with the Young Prince. He was a mere boy.
The large Gladiators stole his crown and placed it on top the centre tower’s roof. A challenge was placed upon the Young Prince to gain the respect of the Gladiators. Holding the Golden Long Sword and the Shield Jargen gave him, he devastated the majority of the Gladiators, but half a dozen of the strongest remained guarding the tower’s stair way.
One by one they withdrew the fight and the Young Prince was allowed atop the tower to retrieve his crown. Although this was a trick; they captured him by lasso dropping him into the dungeon below.
The dungeon held a dozen giant Ligers, fourteen feet from nose to tail. The Young Prince was forced to kill eight with his sword before the remaining ceased their attack. He spared the lives of four and they remain beside him in battle. Astonished by the bravery and skill of the Young Prince the village of Gladiators allied with him and told him the story of King Douglas and his fall into madness, becoming Odious, the most powerful Wizard in all the realms...
The Gladiators showed loyalty to the Young Prince by wearing a Red Star on their chests. They wielded long swords and helmets of iron. They fought for justice, and the Kingdom; and believed in the Holy Spirit, vowing to fight to the death to destroy evil.
They began a campaign to return to the Kingdom for a proper ceremony. The alliance was lead through the forest heading west. They came to the valley of the sleeping trolls, being told to take care and be silent. The Gladiators did well but it was no use, the giant mountain trolls were awakened by a fire started by the Black Angel of Darkness.
The trolls were ferocious. Shouting loudly and dropping huge flaming boulders onto the Noble men. It was impossible to outrun them, and to stand and fight meant certain death.
Stumbling into one another the giant trolls seemed more preoccupied with putting out the fire on their backs then stopping the campaign. Luckily from out of the clouds came a beautiful melody that echoed over the mountain tops.
Princess Isabella and Luna were confronted by the beautiful White Witch. She told them that they were friends and she wanted to help the Young Prince by watching over him from on top her dragon’s back. Luna heard of the mountain fire and the White Witch brought Isabella to help. The subduction song had made the giant mountain trolls drowsy and fall back to sleep.
The campaign safe from the immediate danger of the giant mountain trolls, continue on to the Kingdom. The White Witch told Isabella her fear of ruler Odious and his growing power. She feels her power weakened by his alliance with Nasfuratu and his wife the Black Angel of Darkness...
With the Campaign’s return to the Kingdom this sealed the alliance between the villagers of the south, and the worshipers from the northern island. Within the realms are still many untamed creatures and undiscovered magic. Looming ever closer from the south is a dark cloud. Villages have been burned to ash. Refugees arrived just before the return of the Young Prince and ally. There was no time for a formal ceremony. Ruler Odious had begun the first attack, and it was up to the Young Prince and the Campaign to defend the Kingdom.
The fire burned with fierce ferocity. Jargen Master of Water could hold it from engulfing the Kingdom but could not push it back. Hope was fading, rations were cut in half for weeks and the lands and life of the Kingdom were in inevitable collapse. The Young Prince, with his army, were useless against the wall of fire.
Shockingly a Griffin emerged from the smoke with a Viking riding upon it’s back...
The Kingdom was in scared, not knowing if the Viking friend or foe. The Griffin landed at the edge of the fire and the Viking dismounted. Dressed in fur boots, kilt, and a solid gold breastplate and helmet, he wielded a large hammer glowing bright white. With it he summoned the winds.
The Viking stepped forward to the border of the fire and slammed his hammer upon the ground.
With a thunderous bang the fire was extinguished revealing three large hounds from the underworld led by “Inferno”. The Kingdom waged war for three days until the Gladiators slayed all the hounds. The Wizard of Death granted the Witch a choice to alley or fall forever in Death’s eternal void.
Refusing surrender she tried another fire storm. The Wizard of Death summoned the shadows and arrested her within the Kingdom...
King Jargen began to amass an army for security. There were supporters from all around the growing Kingdom. The Young Prince led an army under the blue flag for water. Brother Warrior was leader under the brown flag for earth, consisting of the Holy Spiritual worshipers from the North island. The Wizard of Death assembled an army with the Gladiators, under the flag of the red star.
The entire army campaigned into the wild east lands, restoring peace and hope for the ruined villages. As the campaign followed the river down south they found much devastation from Inferno. Many creatures lost their homes. Brother Warrior proclaimed they must replant or this land will turn to sand and the Kingdom will fall.
For the season the entire campaign sowed the land and planted many trees and farmed. As they made their way to the coast they visited the island of the Holy Spirit Worshipers. In the armies absence the island was burned, and was now being slowly eaten away by the sea. The ruler was devastated, but all was not lost. The secret trainings have lived on through the warrior monks.
As the campaign took a moment to grieve for the loss of the beautiful island and the home of the Holy Spirit, the White Witch emerged on dragon back. She confronted the grieving ruler and told him they may move the families into the Golden Palace on top the highest mountains.
The Kingdom had ensured it’s future of prosperity, yet the White Witch reminded the Young Prince that Odious’ power was growing ever stronger. The campaign rested and stocked up before their journey to the Cliffs of Hope and the desert beyond.
When the campaign ventured south they came across the house of the Griffin rider. The Young Prince confronted the Viking, giving him thanks for his heroic efforts against Inferno. The Viking had no need to join the King’s campaign, until the Young Prince told the Viking of the ruler Odious and his mind controlled dwarfs in the tunnels below.
The Viking was shocked that such treachery had bestowed these poor creatures, and so close to his home. He allied with the Kingdom, grabbing his mighty hammer and followed the campaign into the tunnels of the Cliffs of Hope...
The tunnels were seeping with a foul smell, and the campaign refused to enter for fear of becoming trapped under the spell themselves. The Viking smashed his hammer and a large gust of wind blew through the tunnels sweeping them of the poison. Unsure and uneasy the party ventured into the tunnels, ready for an attack.
The first few signs of the extent of this tragedy were the starving and dying dwarfs who lay on either side of the tunnels as they continued onward. They were lead to the holding area of the dwarfs slaves. Many lay dead all around.
Jargen read from the book of Life and restored life to the dwarfs, yet unbeknownst to him of the secret weapon the dwarf slaves had build. As the spell echoed through the tunnels the sound of cranks and metal scratching was heard.
The dwarfs all ran out of the tunnels, as the campaign followed King Jargen deeper to confront Odious. The army was built, but Odious has no power to bring the army to life. He knew the weakness in Jargen’s heart and used the suffering of the dwarfs to bring to life his invisible iron army.
Jargen fought Odious in the tunnels. As the masterpiece army marched closer the campaign retreated. Jargen fought hard, but Odious was powerful. The Young Prince returned to aid King Jargen, but as he emerged to the area of the battle he saw the king evaporated, and the crown hit the ground. The Young Prince withdrew his Golden Long Sword and attacked Odious.
Surprised by the magic of the Golden Sword, Odious stepped back to allow the iron army to destroy the Young Prince. Hastily the Young Prince picked up the crown and escaped through the tunnels.
Upon exiting the Cliffs of Hope the campaign had been surrounded by the army of Nasfuratu.
The Griffin flies through a group of ogre warriors and lands in front of the Viking and allied warriors. The Viking climbs on and takes off to the skies. He prepares for his strongest attack, summoning a tornado. Nasfuratu confronts him in the skies and they battle. Exchanging mighty blows, yet Nasfuratu’s otherworldly powers prove far to much and the Viking and Griffin are sent plummeting from the skies above...
Brother Warrior catches the Viking and returns him to the ground, but the Viking is dead. The Air Walking Warrior Monks form a circle around the two for protection as Brother Warrior begins reading from the book of Life in attempt to save the Viking’s life.
The Wizard of Death and the Gladiators begin a charge against Nasfuratu’s Army. Nasfuratu laughs from up high. The Young Prince emerges from the tunnels and begins a battle meditation,
The Golden Long Sword begins emanating a bright light. The Young Prince strikes the cliffs and a rock slide barricades Odious and the iron army deep within the mountain.
Enraged Nasfuratu becomes engulfed in flames and plummets towards the army of Gladiators like a meteor. But before impact the White Witch and her giant Dragon intercept him.
They carry him far off to the horizon, but the violent impact creates a huge explosion, causing a sandstorm to engulf the battlefield. From amongst the sandstorm b****y cries and metal clashing can be heard all around.
A glowing light shines bright from within the darkness and the loud voice of the Prince can be heard. “On me!” He shouts for his warrior to assemble.
A loud war cry sends a shockwave over the battlefield, and a stampede rattles the ground. A mighty clash of armies as the Young Prince breaks the lines of the ogre warriors.
As the dust clears the Young Prince and allies emerge victorious. A hard fought battle has left them deteriorated, and weary. The casualties were to numerous to count.
As they began to reassemble the ground began to shakes and a large sinkhole emerged. From below a loud clanking can be heard; the iron army emerges, and begins to form a line that is charging the Young Prince and his weary army.
Meanwhile the White Witch and her dragon battle Nasfuratu. The mighty dragon’s ferocious claws and teeth tear and devastate Nasfuratu.
As he is grabbed by the enormous mouth Nasfuratu calls for help. A Dark portal opens and the Black Angel appears with a demon hoard following her.
The White Witch strikes down the demon hoard with a blast of Light, then duels hand to hand with the Dark Angel as Nasfuratu is swallowed whole by the mighty Dragon.
With King Jargen defeated his magic was slowly failing, this left the bonds on Inferno weak, and she broke free from the dungeon of the Kingdom. She appears and overwhelmed the White Witch. Her body was turned to ash, but her soul remained tied to the Golden Sword wielded by the Prince.
The Dark Angel and Inferno restrain the mighty dragon and cut open his stomach, releasing Nasfuratu. Down the dragon collapses in a mighty crash upon the earth...
Brother Warrior and the Air Walking Warrior Monks engage Inferno and the Dark Angel. The Wizard of Death attempts to cast a spell on the iron army but it proves useless, Odious has a powerful protection spell over them.
The Wizard of Death summons back to life the fallen soldiers as the undead and they confront the iron army. The futile attempt slows the army down but nothing, it seems, can stop it.
The Young Prince notices the Viking is alive again thanks to the book of Life and Brother Warrior. He is regaining his strength. From his side he grabs a large horn and blows into it, summoning an army of Valkyrie followed by the Angels of Light and the Ice Witch. The Valkyrie army and Ice witch engage the iron army. The iron army is repelled off of the Wizard of Death, who is badly wounded. The iron army is flash frozen and smashed into pieces as the Valkyrie army charge through them.
Nasfuratu, along with the Dark Angel and Inferno are confronted by Angels of Light coming to assist the warrior monks and Brother Warrior. They are outnumbered and subdued under the spell of the Holy Spirit.
The Young Prince confronts Odious. He finds Odious alone in the middle of the battlefield; the battle raged on all around, yet he notices nothing as he engages in battle with the powerful ruler.
With Jargen’s shield and the Witch’s Magical Golden Sword the Young Prince duels bravely. Odious’ powers prove equal to the mighty magical weapons and the fight is evenly matched.
The Young Prince is thrown around and looses the shield. He charges the mighty Odious and finds a mark cutting his shoulder. A green smoke begins to seep from his body and the black scaly skin becomes flesh like.
Odious falls to his knees and the Young Prince charges for a final attack, but the voice of the White Witch is heard from within his mind.
She tells him the story of King Douglas and his greed. He is the lost son of the ruthless king. And only in the reunion of father and son, after all King Douglas’ efforts and failures; the only thing that can save him is the forgiveness of his only family member.
The Young Prince is awestruck and falls to his knees in front of Odious, who has lost his powers and now is a mortal man once again. The Young Prince embraces his father and they hug. A deep rage has lifted from King Douglas and his possession is extinguished.
The Love the Young Prince shows his true father sets him free and the Magical Realms live forever in peace once again.
