Sophia's POV.
I was staring at Isabella in the silence, wondering why she should have called me Mum. It sounded so strange to me that I did not know how I was supposed to react, as I said a word in response, but it was the same word.
"Yes, Mum, remember the last time we met you agreed that you were going to be my new mom. I have not asked my father about it yet. Like you said, he was going to give me the perfect answer, but I'm sure he would say yes," she said to me, and at the moment I felt like I was going to faint.
How could a kid be so outspoken and bold? She had just said it to my face that she had every reason to call me Mother, and there was nothing I could say to oppose it.
"Isabella, you might really need to talk to your father about that before you call me your mother, okay?
