Sophia's POV.
I opened the door slowly. To see the tiny figure standing in front of me with the broad smile on her face and her hair packed up in the bun.
"Isabel?" I called out with a tone of surprise as I stood there, not knowing exactly what I was supposed to say to the smiling kid.
Just then, before she could respond, I heard some faint footsteps approaching us. As I looked into the corridor, I saw Damian's mother walking at a slow pace towards us.
"I was very disappointed when you left without saying goodbye, Sophia. It's very good to see you again." She said to me, and she came close and gave me a warm hug. I could not find the right words to respond to such warmness from the both of them. Especially with the way I was feeling at that moment, it was not the perfect time to smile
