Sophia's POV
We got to the study. I knocked lightly on the door before pushing it open as I stepped into the large study room. It was known as a place where Damien retreated whenever he had to be alone, and I wondered why he was going to be inviting me to that room at that time of the night.
"Damien I really want to be alone. I would appreciate it if whatever it is you want to talk about could be discussed tomorrow. I want to go to bed," I said to him immediately as I stepped into the study and saw him standing before the window.
"I called you here to say something. I feel like my head is going to explode if I do not tell you, and I know that I cannot keep it in any longer, so I need to tell you," he said to me, and at that moment I was staring at him, feeling a little bit anxious.
