Sophia's POV
It was funny how she was so curious to know if I was going to be a next mother, and at that moment I found it rather admirable to see the kind of relationship that she had with her grandmother. She felt so free to speak to her grandmother and ask any kind of question that she wanted to ask with no fear or restriction of her grandmother, and I thought for a second that she was lucky because when I was her age, I was newly adopted into a family that I was not very comfortable with, and I had to do everything with the fear that they were going to scold me.
"What about my daddy? Where did he go?" She asked, turning her gaze to meet me, and at that moment I stared at Damian's mother for a while before saying in a low voice.
"He is running an errand; he will soon be coming back."
