I felt something struck me when she said that she resented the day she met me, and just then she turned around to leave, but I could not have it.
"Sophia Wait, please," I said as I turned around to grab her wrist, but she pulled away immediately, turning to face me instantly.
"Do not even think of touching me. You know I knew you were everything else but toxic. How could you treat a child as if she were the cause of all of your problems? Now you think that's a normal behavior, and you want to act like everything is fine?" She fired at me, and at that moment I was facing her with my head down.
