I was still trying to get over the shock when Sophia opened up to me, telling me she already knew that we were not going to Los Angeles to attend a meeting but were running away from the presence of Agent Thompson. I asked her how she managed, and she said she had overheard my conversation with Marco that evening a few minutes before we left, and I wondered why she was silent when she found out the truth.
