Turning eighteen didn't make Audrey any more independent. Theodore still controlled her trust fund, her passport, and every major medical decision. Vivian picked out her clothes and weighed her every morning. She even insisted on bathing Audrey herself when Audrey was twenty-four, claiming her daughter could never wash her back properly.
