19. Women’s DayThe trip back to Korback Prison was swift and uneventful. When they made the gate, they saw that the whole atmosphere of the place had changed.
The gate was wide open for a start and there was no guard in the tower. And the front parade ground was full of women in white lab coats.

“I’m sure the Colonel wouldn’t approve,” offered Stork. “Sometimes you just need a sadist to make sure your clocks run on time.”
