20. The Inner SanctumThe room Sabienn found himself in was in Hayddland. It was the inner sanctum of the palace at Foundation City. He’d seen it once before on a screen with Grey Cape. It was where the decisions and Supreme Orders were made. It was also where The Great Leader drank good wine, ate fine food and took hallucinations on soso.
Within the room with him, Sabienn saw the man he had saved from a death by ice cream, Captain Arj Sooth. The Captain stood at ease in the room flanked by three other operatives Sabienn recognized in the ice cream shop.
As his eyes surveyed the room, Sabienn was stunned. Standing against the wall was his class-mate Cole Dryde who was now respected as the Number Two Black Wolf for the year. Looking at him, Cole was still and attentive like a dark statue.
