Not now.
I was hoping I could sleep a little before the next class. I was just using the hungry part to try to escape this crazy lunatic.
“Now look what you've done." I complained sitting back down.
“Oh, it's fine. I'll take care of it." He replied mischievously, then he stepped out, towards the teacher.
“O-kay. At least he's gone." I mumbled exhaustingly.
But to my surprise, the teacher announced his departure, then left, and that crazy kid was with him. Then he came back to join me afterwards.
“See, cleared." He said sitting next to me again.
“How did you do that?" I asked confusingly.
“Its not his time to teach, so I sent him on his way." He replied.
“They can do that here?" I asked yet again in a confused manner.
“Not unless you're the lecture teacher who own that time." He replied.
“So, you happen to own the time he's using up." I asked playfully.
“You bet." He replied.
“Yah right." I said getting up.
“See you later freak." I concluded, shoving past him as quickly as I could to the front.
“I'll see you around love." He yelled at me wearing a huge grin on his face.
“Yah, sure." I replied, passing him a fake grin.
Weirdo.
(Few minutes later, a lady came forward to make an announcement. )
“Hello freshmen.
I'm the class coordinator, and I'd like to inform you that the teacher who own this period isn't available at the moment.
So, her son, who also happens to be the best student in this great university has managed to make time to take the class in place of her." She announced.
“Let's make some noise as we welcome the Allen Chris to the hotspot podium." She concluded, and they all began to scream as the guy from earlier made his way to the front.
Wait, he's the Allen Chris!?
I'm definitely not freaking out right now.
“Hello Handsome and beautiful amigos." He yelled as he got to the front, and they all cheered for him.
He sure knows how to charm his way to grab attention from people.
“I'm sure there's no need for any further introductions. You all already know who I am." He added then he secretly winked at me.
“Alright let's get to business. The business of making the psychology of healthy living fun." He concluded playfully, and they all laughed for some reason.
That wasn't even funny, and that's saying something coming from a person who gets easily entertained.
After class
I left immediately he rounded up.
He seized every moment he had to call on me to do so.
Wasn't he supposed to be teaching us Health psychology.
He sounded more like he was teaching us something entirely different, while still remaining on the topic.
In all, I don't get it.
On my way out, I heard him call out to me. But then I used the opportunity of the crowd forming around him to escape.
But he caught up to me outside.
How could he even lose that many people that quickly?
“Hey Joy! Aren't you suppose to have one more class before a close." He yelled, running towards me.
I almost forgot that.
I don't think it would really matter anyways since I'm just so exhausted.
I need sleep.
“Come on, wait up." He added.
“Come on Chris brown, let me be." I yelled back, stopping.
“Its Allen Chris." He said stopping to gasp for a bit, once he noticed I stopped moving.
“Which is your first name anyways, Allen, Chris? Or is it the A-C cooler." I concluded mockingly.
“I know, it's a terrible nickname, I didn't make it up. But you gotta admit it's catchy. And as for the latter question its Allen." He concluded now facing me.
“What do you want Allen?" I asked tiredly.
“Your number." He replied.
“Seriously?" I asked again confusingly.
“Yah." He replied again.
“So, if I give it to you, you'd let me go."
“Sure." He replied.
“Cool. Your phone."
“Seriously, thanks." He said gratefully.
Then he dipped his hand into his pocket, and brought out a phone. Then he handed it to me with a smile.
I dialled in my number then handed it back to him.
“Alright. I'll call you." He added smilingly taking it back.
“Cool. Bye cooler." I replied, heading off.
No one said anything about having to answer it.
Back at the apartment.
I walked into the apartment to meet Julia and Debra lying lazy on the couch.
Didn't they have classes?
“Hey cutie. You're back early, how were your first classes?" Julia greeted.
“Em, classy." I replied as I headed to my room.
“O-kay" she dragged confusingly returning back to what she was doing.
Then Debra looked up, then looked back down without saying a word.
“Welcome sis, how was your day sis?" I said out loud, acting on behalf of her.
“It was great, thank you." I added replying myself, then I went into my room, and slammed the door behind me.
“O-kay" Julia dragged, covering her face with her phone.
Some hours later...
“Why..." I grumbled, dragging myself out of my room.
I couldn't sleep. How couldn't I sleep, I was so tired.
Wait, wasn't I suppose to have a beef with my sister?
“Hey again." Julia said playfully.
“Hey!" I replied, dumping myself on the couch.
“Why are you so down? You two left so early yesterday." Debra suddenly said to my amusement.
“Well, your friend is a heavy breather." I replied frustratingly.
“Wait, how do you even know that?" I asked confusingly.
“I stepped out to take a call so I decided to check on you guys-"
“Wait that's not-" Julia tried to intrude but Debbie cut her off.
“Then I caught you both leaving." She concluded in a louder tone. Like she was giving Julia a sign to shut-up.
I wonder why.
“Well, did you make friends?" Julia added.
“Not really." I replied turning my face flat on the couch.
“So, you didn't talk to anyone."
“No, I mean yah. But it doesn't count when it's someone annoying. Especially someone I could never be friends with."
“Wawu!" Julia yelled, rushing towards me.
“I like where this is going, tell me more." She concluded sitting on a couch closer to me.
“Oh no!" I yelled raising my head,
“I know that tone, and I certainly don't like where you're taking this." I added.
“She hates anything romance Juli. I'm pretty sure it isn't what you're thinking." Debra commented, still eye fixed on her phone.
“You don't know that.
It could be the beginning of a fairytale." Julia added happily.
“So, what's the name, and who are we talking about here?" She questioned excitedly focusing on me again.
“Oh boy." I sighed, dropping my head face flat again.
“Come on. Spill it." She added anxiously.
Is this another episode where you gotta talk or it would never end?
“Fine. It's this guy named Allen something. Who happens to be the best student in the school and a lecturer." I replied raising my head up while I spoke. Then I placed it back down again once I was done talking.
“Allen Chris?" She said questioningly.
“Yah, that guy." I replied, then she sighed and returned back to her sit.
“How'd you know that?" I asked confusingly, raising my head up again.
“Your sis is right. You definitely aren't the fairy tale type." Julia added in a snobbish manner.
“Told you so." Debbie commented satisfactorily.
“Not like I'm disputing or anything, but what made you conclude on that so easily?" I asked confusingly.
“Firstly, he's no lecturer, and secondly, it's probably cause he's my boyfriend." She explained in a carefree manner.
“You say what now!" I yelled in a petrified manner, rushing up to my feet.
Her Boyfriend!?
