Chapter 5

In the middle of the night. I sleepily got up to drink some water. But when I returned to bed, the blanket was strangely bulging. I yanked it open and saw— The man was bound tightly to the bed by his own tentacles, his posture almost indecently inviting, like an extravagant feast waiting to be tasted. One tentacle had even slipped beneath his clothes, revealing sharply defined abdominal muscles. He turned his face away, the tips of his ears faintly red, his eyelashes trembling. I stared. My brain completely crashed. I simply stood there, frozen. He glanced at me from the corner of his eye and swallowed. The tentacles writhed even more eagerly, pulling out thin, glistening strands. I hesitated over whether I should approach. Then a sudden force shoved me forward— I stumbled and fell directly onto him. He let out a soft groan. I knew I should get up. But my hands refused to cooperate. So, half resisting and half surrendering, I lightly ran my fingers over his abdominal muscles twice. His breathing grew heavier. Just then, a tentacle reached over from the side. A tiny pink bow was tied around its tip. I tentatively touched it. It trembled. Then it rubbed itself against my palm as though trying to please me. “Pretty cute.” I couldn't help praising it. The moment I finished speaking— Rustle. Rustle. The entire bedroom suddenly seemed to come alive. —Under the bed. Behind the curtains. Between the wardrobe doors. Inside the shadows on the ceiling... Countless tentacles emerged. Each one had a different decoration. Some had tiny bells tied around them. Some wore fluffy little rings. One even had a miniature sunflower attached to it, trembling as it held the flower out toward me. They surged toward me one after another, cautiously rubbing against me as though waiting for praise. But more and more appeared. Denser and denser. The entire room seemed to be writhing. The later arrivals, apparently unwilling to lose, desperately pushed their way forward. I was surrounded by them, swaying helplessly from side to side. “D-don't do this.” I backed away slightly. But there were tentacles everywhere. There was nowhere to hide. Adrian lowered his eyelashes and murmured, “...Didn't you used to love them the most?” I didn't hear him clearly. I was too busy backing away. I was just about to climb off the bed when— Something suddenly wrapped around my ankle. A tentacle had somehow extended from nowhere and locked tightly around me. It yanked. I lost my balance and fell heavily back into his arms. “Mm!” He groaned. The tentacle wrapped around me loosened for a moment. I immediately broke free, jumped out of bed barefoot, and ran. Leaning against the wall, I felt as though my heart were about to leap out of my throat. I hurriedly messaged customer service. “Come pick him up tomorrow!”
