Amelia Bernadeth Miller's POV "Good morning, Mr. Perault!" I cheerfully greeted the newly arrived old, grumpy hermit. Without even acknowledging my presence, he briskly walked into his office and slammed the door shut. I had to close my eyes because the noise was almost deafening. "Happy Monday, self!" I muttered to myself sarcastically. To distract myself from the unpleasant encounter, I decided to go to the café across the street from the Perault building to buy some coffee. It reminded me of the time when Sir Phillip and I shared a warm kiss a week ago. But now, it seemed like a distant memory that bothered me constantly, especially on Mondays.
