AMBER POV "Good morning, Mr. Perault.” I said with a smile as my boss approached. As usual, he wore a frown, barely acknowledging me. It felt like I was just a breeze he brushed past on his way to the office, almost slamming the door shut behind him. Releasing a heavy sigh, I muttered to myself, "Happy Monday, self." His face was already grumpy this early in the morning, making him look even older. I always feel incredibly lazy getting up on Mondays. My week starts off ruined the moment I see Mr. Grumpy. It's probably going to stay like this until Friday. I should be the one frowning at my boss. He made me look like a fool by leaving me at the orphanage without any intention of letting me ride home with him. I didn't mean to tag along, but he could have at least told me in a nicer way,
