“I can't believe my eyes anymore, Sam. It was really Ken that I saw last night.” I insisted to Sam while talking to her on the cellphone. I was on the bus on my way to work.
“He probably found you, Amber. Didn't I tell you before that he was asking about you? Maybe he wants to get back together?” Sam asked.
“I don't know, Sam. I don't want to think about it right now because I still have reports to finish. I just asked for help from the former secretary. You know the hermit will scold me again if I mess up.” I noticed that I was about to get off, so I said goodbye to Sam. “Okay, Sam. I'll call you later; I'm about to get off the bus.”
