thirteen After another shower to wash away the grime of a sodden Saturday morning, Rose and Shelly made their way to the in-house hairdresser’s. The salon was busy, full of women reading celebrity magazines while sitting underneath heat lamps, attended to by young weekend trainee staff who rushed around sweeping cut hair from the floor and making copious mugs of strong tea.
