got up to my room and collapsed on my bed , The f*****g sheets were drenched in vanilla perfume. I threw them to the floor and grabbed a pillow so that I could hold onto it for comfort. When I did , a strand of hair fell on the mattress. I hoped off the bed, grabbed the sheets and pillows and threw them down the floor then I laid down. Her scent was still there ,permanently embedded on my nostrils , a hunting reminder of what I had done. I thought I did something good by saving her but I ended up doing something unforgivable or trying to anyway. Mr Bettle, no Clarence was a crazy psychopath and I had done something as crazy as he was . I had to remind myself that he was a man , not a bug . Shooting the man was one thing , he was going to kill Maya. I was just protecting her, but once I subdued him I tied him up, he was no longer a threat. I was no longer protecting Maya but I was going to murder an innocent man . Clarence couldn't fight me back . He was defenseless and crazy and whatever was driving his madness he should really stop doing it .
