Chapter 51 It became faster to free the howlers after the first one. Tyler saw Ruby and the wolfkin get into a rhythm where she would open the cages and the wolfkin would chase the howlers until they headed toward the forest. The howlers seemed to have an instinct to run into the forest the way a newborn turtle instinctively raced to the sea. The wolfkin seemed satisfied to just let them run without their supervision. Tyler guessed there were wolfkin just beyond the edge of the forest, ready to corral the howlers back to their den. Tyler trotted over to where Ruby was working.
