Feeling more confident about turning to their ranked members for support during this turbulent time, the newborns saw the meeting come to an end. As the others exited the conference room, Natalie remained behind to speak privately with Rylee; afterward, Wyatt and the rest of the ranked members left as well.
When they were finally alone, Rylee turned to Natalie.
“What’s up?” Rylee asked, offering a genuine smile.
“Luna, can you please keep what you saw to yourself?” Natalie requested.
