“Ale!” I feel Adrian little hands shake me slightly.
“Hm.” I try to get up but feel a body hold me down. I turn to Nate arm and leg draped over me and holding me close. I turn to Adrian as he eyes Jake. I look down realizing I guess I changed last night because I felt my legs were bare and I had on a oversized t-shirt. Plus Nate and I skin to skin contact felt really nice.
“Hey. You wanna cuddle too?” I ask him as he shakes his head but scoots into my arms. I hold onto him sighing because this felt perfect. Too f*****g perfect. Adrian starts to squirm before jumping on the bed as Nate starts move around not letting go of me.
“Good morning.” He kisses my neck before peeking at Adrian. “Hey what do you think your doing? You wanna have a jump contest.”
“No.” I tell him as Adrian says ‘yes.’
“Alright.” He stands in the bed as I lay between the two as they both start jumping on my bed. I wiggle like a worm making Nate laugh still jumping. He knew he was the one making the bed move so much.
“Children settle down.” I tell them as Nate sits down and Adrian stops pouting.
“You’re such a party pooper.” He mumbles pulling my body so I was laying on him.
“Good. This party is sleeping.” I cuddle into him as I see Adrian wanting to join. I grab him putting him on my lap as he crawls into Nate lap.
“Look at two babies.” He coos as I swat him away laughing.
“Sorry for asking if you could stay over.” I tell him as he smiles pulling me back into him.
“It wasn’t a problem. I wouldn’t have left you home alone anyway. I thought your grandmother said she didn’t work.”
“Well she picked up a shift as I came home so it worked for her.” I shrug off.
“So is she usually gone all night and morning?” He ask as I shake my head.
“No she usually is home by now.”
“Wanna stay in all day?” He ask with a smile. I hope he was planning on staying in with me.
“Oh yes that is always the plan.” I laugh.
“Oh yeah let’s stay in bed with just you and this t shirt.” He smirks making me blush.
“Shut up.” I slap his arm as he leans against the headboard and pulling me into his lap.
“Or we could go on a date?” He says coolly.
“A date?” I ask as he nods.
“Yeah you me and Adrian.” Nate says as I laugh.
“That’s not a proper date.”
“Well, it’ll be good enough for me.” He explains kissing the top of my head. It’s so weird how he’s so affectionate toward me but maybe this was his way of getting in my pants? But it’s been a while since we been hanging out, shouldn’t he have tried already? And why would I allow him to even do that? I’m Obviously Easy and I have no standards.
“Okay, we could cook here.” I stand stretching picking up Adrian off the bed.
“Oh we could do that.” He pulls at my shirt to get back in bed but I just lead him to the bathroom.
“What would you have in mind?” I ask sitting Adrian on the sink and grabbing an extra toothbrush and handing it to Nate.
“Mmm Lasagna?” He ask and I nod smiling at him.
“Sure, I can make that.”
We brush our teeth and head down stairs so I could start cooking. He keeps Adrian occupied playing and feeding him as I pull out the ingredients.
“So you can cook? I haven’t seen you pull out your phone once.” Nate says standing behind me wrapping his arms softly around my waist.
“Yeah, I know what I’m doing. I’ve been cooking for most of my life.” I shrug turning to face him still in his arms. “What about you? Do you know how to cook?”
“Uh no. My mother used to cook for me, now I do take out or wait for my grandmother to come over.” He shrugs as I shake my head.
“Thats bad.” I slap his arm as he gasp.
“I’m sorry, I’m lazy okay!”
“Well today you will get a delicious home cooked meal.”
—
“Wow, you want to cook for me at home everyday too?” Nate moans eating the lasagna.
“I could.” I smirk as he looks up at me with a look in his eye.
“Hey!” The front door widens and in walks Jamil as he stops when he sees Nate. “Woah, where was my invite?”
“You didn’t get one so leave. You also cannot be bursting into her house like this.” Nate growls at the newcomer.
“Alex! Tell him to be nice to me please.” Jamil whines as I put my arms up in surrender.
“That’s not my job.” I take a slice and giving it to Adrian before putting a blanket on the floor for him to eat on.
“Can I get a piece?” He pouts as I give him a slice and he starts to gobble it down excitedly.
“You need to slow down.” I tell him as he nods but goes the same speed.
“Anyways, So are you going to show me the tattoo?” Nate smirks as I smile.
“No, can do mister. Eat your food.” I lean against the counter as they continue to eat.
“You two missed the best party ever.” He laughs as I gasp.
“Nate you should’ve told me. You could’ve went.” I tell him as he shakes his head.
“It’s better that I stayed here with you.” He explains smiling.
“Yeah Jason was there looking for you two.” He shrugs.
“He was looking for me?” I give him a confused look.
“It’s so funny how naive you are sometimes.” Nate smiles as I glare at him.
“I’m not naive I just want to know why he’s looking for me.” I roll my eyes.
“Well He wasn’t looking for you to fight.” Jamil wiggles his eyebrows as Nate glares at him for his action. The boys finish eating as I clean up after all of them.
“Can we go out?” Jamil whines.
“You came and interrupted us. You can go out.” Nate tells him as he pouts.
“What do you have in mind?” I ask him as I see Nate slouch in his seat in defeat.
“Actually.” Jamil slouches as well. “Never mind.”
❧
“Hey babies.” my grandmother walks in kissing my forehead and kisses a sleeping Adrian. “How was your day?”
“Um it was really good. Nate and Jamil came over.” I tell her as she smiles.
“I like Nate. His family is very kind.” She explains.
“Tomorrow I have off if you want to go out.” She tells me as I pick up Adrian heading to lay him in bed.
“Well I’ll think about it.” I shrug. “I haven’t had a moment to myself in a while since everyone is always around here.”
I get to the room laying Adrian down as I lay next to him feeling myself drift to sleep.
Next morning I wake up to the buzzing of my phone nonstop. I pick it up off the bed as I see Adrian was already gone. I sigh checking to see that it was all from Jamil. I FaceTime him back as he answers before it could even ring.
“Your grandma isn’t letting us in.” He whines as I see Lucas in the back with Paige and Erin.
“Oh yeah I told her not to.” I tell him as he cries.
“Why? Are you mad at me? Please I’m bored.” He pouts like a baby.
“You act as if I’m your only friend.” I point as he shrugs.
“I enjoy your company.” He says through the phone making me sigh.
“Fine give me thirty minutes.”
I get up, shower brush my teeth and throw on a cute nike brown shirt with some nike shorts. Maybe I bought a couple more things when Travis led us to the Nike store, but we will talk about that later. I run downstairs as my grandma gives me a looks but I just brush it off making her laugh. I totally wanted to be back in bed. I open the door just to be tackled by yours truly.
“You’re going to hurt her.” Lucas growls picking Jamil up off of me.
“She can handle.” Jamil smirks as Nate walks through the door slapping Jamil in the back of his head and leaning over to pick me up off the floor.
“Don’t break my granddaughter please.” My grandmother glares at the boys.
“Yes ma’am.” Nate says as we head outside.
“So what do you guys want to do?” I ask them. I wait for someone to answer but it seems like this was their only plan.
“Well we have to pick up Tina.” Erin says.
“Oh we can go use your pool Lucas.” Paige exclaims.
“Uhh, Remember the last time we did that.” He shakes his head.
“Jamil is responsible for himself. So if he wants to run around the pool, to each its own.”
We drive to Lucas house as his mother greets us. “Oh you should’ve brought Adrian.” She pouts.
“Next time for sure.” I tell her as she claps.
“There is food and snacks help yourselves, I’ll be in my office.”
The boys start to strip along with Paige excitedly. I watch as they all strip and Erin goes to sit on the pool chair.
“You not swimming?” I ask.
“No way. I didn’t wear a bra.” She shrugs as I start to strip out of my clothing leaning against the chair that Erin was sitting on.
“Are you getting in?” Jamil ask as I nod.
“Yeah give me a sec.” I say looking at the pool water. I kind of didn’t want to get in because I rather the sea over the pool but I guess I could settle for this.
“Seems like you need help getting in.”
