“Still mad?” Jamil ask hugging me as I walk out to the tree behind the school. “I can hold a grudge.” I tell him as he pouts whining. “You should be more mad at Samuel because it’s his fault he’s so good looking and got us into this mess.” Jamil exclaims. “And how’s that?” Samuel and I ask him at the same time as Jamil looks shook. “Never mind.” He grumbles sitting down and I sit next to him smiling. “I’m not mad. I just figured that avoiding you would help getting the girls to not glare at me all day but that s**t didn’t work at all.” I explain to him. “Well you shouldn’t care.” Samuel shrugs sitting next to me. “We aren’t their dogs.” “We can act like it if you want us to.” Jamil smirks as I laugh. “No thank you. I rather you not act like dogs.” “I can show you my best dog impression.” He says crawling towards me as I open my mouth but no words came out. “Jamil, please.” —- “So you and Jamil?” I turn to the girl that Jamil called Tash, or was it Magenta? I can't remember her name but I smile at her. I figured killing her with kindness was the way I had to go because I didn’t have time to dish it out with her. “No way. He’s too disgusting for me.” I tell her as she narrows her eyes at me. “Then why don’t you stay the f**k away from my man, and no I don’t care if you guys are ‘just friends’” she states as I nod smirking. This was a very stupid conversation. I don’t know why she thought threatening me was the way to go. “You going to fight me for a guy?” I smirk as she glares at me. “You don’t know what I’m capable of but I can surely show you.” She growls. “Yes ma’am he’s all yours. Go see him, he said he missed you very much.” I tell her walking away and out to where the girls park. “Girls.” “Hey! You got away Scotch free from the devil.” Paige laughs as I roll my eyes. “Stay away from my man, blah blah blah, curse.” I mock as Erin laughs getting in the car and we follow suit. “The boys said that they’ll meet us after practice.” Tina says as we leave the school. “Oh perfect, more time with the boys.” I grumble making them laugh. “What the f**k is up with you and Samuel ?” Tina ask out of the blue. “Nothing. We barely speak.” I tell them as they look at me crazy. “Plus I’m only been here for two days, nothing could have possibly brewed between us so quickly. Also he yelled at me earlier today.” FLASHBACK. I was walking out of class looking for my notebook, which I should’ve been looked where I was going but, it is what it is. “Yo.” I fall on my butt looking up at a glaring Samuel . “Oh sorry Samuel .” I stand up gathering myself. “Watch where your going.” He grumbles. “Same for you too.” I snap back as he turn to me. His glare grows deadly but I don’t mind it and stand my ground. “You bumped into me not the other way around.” He sneers as I raise an eyebrow. “You are an Angry little munchkin.” I smirk as he rolls his eyes and starts to walk away. “Conversation over.” —- “No, this is the most he’s ever talked to a girl in forever especially around us.” Tina shakes me as I stop her laughing. “Plus, you should’ve stayed out of his way.” “Look, I get it. Samuel just wants to get in my pants. Wow.” I laugh at the girls. “Don’t look too much into it guys. Maybe I’m an easy person to talk to.” “Sure. I bet one hundred bucks you guys will be f*****g in less than 3 months.” Erin smirks as I wink at her. “You’re so on.” —- “Wow! That jumpsuit looks so good on you. I wish I could pull that off.” Paige whines as I twist and turn in front of the mirror. “Your body type fits for you.” Lucas says winking at her as she smiles at him. “As your designated older brother you cannot wear that.” “Key word designated Lucas.” Travis smirks. “Okay enough.” Samuel says. “How much longer are you girls shopping for?” “Aww, you ready to go home?” Jamil ask as Samuel punches his arm and I could tell it wasn’t a soft punch. “Why do you have to abuse me?” “We are almost done! Alex closet is almost complete.” Paige squeals pushing me back into the dressing room as I start to undress. I put back on my clothing walking out of the dressing room with the clothes I tried on. “Okay I’m done.” I tell the girls putting my clothes down slouching down onto one of the chairs. “Aren’t you buying these?” Erin gasp as I shake my head. “Heck no. I’ve already bought a s**t ton of clothing at those other stores.” I tell her as she rolls her eyes. “Barely! You need to buy a couple more outfits.” “You’re not my mom you know.” “But I am older than you.” “Wow, they’re fighting over clothes.” Travis gasp as I glare at him. “Buy one outfit.” Jamil says smiling looking through the clothes I put down. He holds up a off the shoulder romper nodding. “You could wear this to the rival game in two weeks time.” “Absolutely not.” Lucas exclaims as I see from the corner of my eye Samuel agreeing with him. “You guys are annoying.” I say getting up and snatching the outfit from his hands and heading to the cashier. “Look it’s being bought, can we go home now?” “No way? We just got here.” Lucas smirks as I take the bag and head out the store with everyone. “I need a new pair of shoes, my old ones are a little over worn out.” Travis says laughing at his own joke and leading the way to a Nike store as we follow him. “You really wearing that outfit at the game?” Samuel ask as I feel butterflies in my stomach at how close he is. “Um I might do so.” I tell him as he nods tilting his head down to me. “You trying to get me to lose the game?” — “You guys won’t believe what he said.” I tell the girls. “Which he?” Paige ask taking as I roll my eyes. “There’s only one he.” I roll my eyes as I tell the girls the interaction between Samuel and I and more. “He did not say that!” Erin exclaims laughing as I shake my head at her hanging the clothes that I bought during the day. I was finally back home but the girls were over and Adrian was fast asleep on the couch because if he was up here he would’ve surely been woken up. I love this time with them when it’s just us and no boys to judge us. “I don’t think that is something I can make up.” I giggle telling her. “Might as well cough up the money now sweetie.” “Oh no way! You never said anything about flirting nor kissing, you said fucking.” I remind her as she rolls her eyes at me. “Fine, but when I does happen I’ll be waiting here victoriously.” —- “You busy this weekend?” Lucas ask as I shrug. It was Friday and the day was coming to an end. “Um maybe just sleep in all weekend.” I smile as he shakes his head at my laziness. “Why don’t you do something, like with the girls?” He ask as I shake my head. “They want to go shopping, again.” I groan. “So I’m going to stay in bed all day.” “How about I join you?” Jamil ask as I roll my eyes. “This is my weekend alone.” I tell him as he puts his hands up in surrender.
