I rumble through my closet finding an outfit that would represent our school colors, for we were the Jaguars and our colors were Forest green and white. Beats me because I would assume at least black Or even yellow or gold , don't know why I would suggest yellow or gold, but they're prettier. I find white jeans squeezing them on because one they were slightly tight around my thigh area but it was the only pair I had. I find a darkish green shirt slipping it on before looking over at my bed at a sleeping Adrian before putting my hair in a high pony tail and slipping on my black toms. I look good and I’m in a good school spirit. I hear a rapid knock at the front door rushing down the stairs. I kiss my grandmother on the cheek as she smiles walking to the door. Jamil said he would be here soon but I didn’t know he meant this soon. “You’re early.” I said opening the door. “Well of course my lady.” He smiles leading me towards his car. We get in his car as he cranks it up and towards the school. “I honestly thought you didn’t have a car.” “Well I like to ride with Nate since we live close but I wake up late a lot so we don’t really ride all the time.” He explains. “That’s so cute.” “By the way those pants.” He starts but trails off as I raise an eyebrow at him. “That’s it?” I laugh as he nods. “That’s all I can say right now.” We reach the school as I hop out of Jamils car as he waves at me and gets ahead of me in going to the school. “Alex.” I turn to whoever call my name as I gasp. “Joe! What are you doing here?” I look around for any of my friends but they were all most likely inside by the lockers. Great right when I need them. “I came to see you baby. Let’s head out and do it. you’re ass looks real good in those jeans.” He smiles reaching for my hand and I step back slightly. “Are you upset with me?” “Well you haven’t called nor texted me in almost a month and I told you we should be friends this weekend so I figured we were done, like we agreed on. Plus I told you another weekend, and you said okay.” I shrug as I see a frown settle on his face. “So, you’re f*****g someone else?” He grumbles totally dismissing everything I just said. “No just talking.” I tell him sighing before turning away from him. “Sure when I see it I’ll believe it.” He pulls me back as he leans in and I lean back. “Come on Joe, stop.” I step out of his arms as his jaw drops. I've never denied him from the time we got together but being with my girls made me realize that he really isn’t s**t. I walk away from a shocked Joe and into the school to see everyone watching me. I raise an eyebrow as Paige squeals. “Who is that fine milky man?” Paige ask as I laugh bitterly. “That’s Joe, he’s not milky. The first thing he wanted to do was have s*x with me.” I roll my eyes. “Wow. Should I punch him or?” Lucas ask as I brush him away. “No um I kinda told him I have a boyfriend so if anyone wants to pretend?” I ask as they all give me a look. “Fine. Fine, it was a question I was hoping someone would willingly say yes to.” I mumble more to myself. “I’ll beat his ass and be your pretend boyfriend.” Jamil announces as Nate mushes him as Jamil looses his balance falling to the floor groaning. “Fine, fine I can’t be your pretend boyfriend.” “Okay Nate?” I smile as he shrugs. Making me slouch in defeat. “Come on! You pushed him so he wouldn’t, so now you kinda have too.” “I don’t have to.” Nate shrugs as a smirk settles on his face. “But I could do it.” ❧ “Oh yeah I can do it.” Tina mocks Nate smirking at me. “That man likes you.” “No he’s helping me.” I roll my eyes at them. “He’s just playful.” “Jamil offered to be a fake boyfriend. FAKE. And Nate wasn’t allowing that. It’s clear.” Erin smirks. “Playful my ass. Nate is trying to make a move on you and I don’t think he knows how.” Paige adds in as I glare at her. “Stop encouraging them.” “Why? It’s very entertaining.” She giggles as I pout. We were sitting at lunch talking among ourselves because the boys had practice during lunch and will have it through out the rest of the day. Good news is that Jamil, well more like Nate offered to take me home because they have 2 hours of freedom before going back to school to get ready for the game. “Maybe when Nate take you home he can give you a good bye kiss.” Erin makes kissy faces as I feel my cheeks heat up. “Enough.” I roll my eyes groaning. “You guys are annoying.” “Now you see how Lucas feels.” Tina laughs squeezing my shoulders. “Oh yeah and he still deals with me. Bummer.” — “Hey Flower.” Jamil coos hugging me lifting me off my feet. “Hello Jay.” I laugh hugging him back. “Hi Nate.” “Ready Alex?” Nate ask as I nod. We walk out to his car as he grabs my hand slyly. I feel a blush come on. He opens the door for me allowing me to get in. He closes the door getting in and starting the car. “Aren’t we going to wait for a Jamil?” I ask as I see Jamil rushing to the car. “No.” Nate states backing up. “He decided to stop for that girl back there, plus his car is here.” “Please.” I grab his arm pouting as he sighs putting the car in park. Jamil catches up getting in the back sighing. “Do you hate me? Jesus.” Jamil groans as Nate pulls out the parking lot. “I had to run so far. I need the energy for the game.” “You’ll live.” “Are you guys excited for the game?” I ask them. “Always.” Nate smirks. “We are going to kick ass.” Jamil exclaims making me laugh. “I’m excited to eat.” I whine as Nate looks me over smirking. “So am I.” We reach my house as I hop out waving at the boys. I remember Nate doesn’t leave until I’m inside the house so I rush inside bumping into a body. “What are you doing here?” “I had to see my baby again.” Joe smirks pulling me into his arms as I cautiously wrap my arms around him. “I thought I told you I had a boyfriend?” I laugh nervously as he shrugs. “You know I can’t stay away too long, also you never showed me this boyfriend, so it’s obviously a lie.” He says kissing my neck softly as I back away shaking my head. “I have plans and my friends are waiting.” I tell him as he rolls his eyes. “When has they ever stopped us?” “Joe please.” He wraps his arms around me again as if I was to disappear if he didn’t hold on. “Why are you denying me?” “Uh.” We turn as he unwraps his arms around me to a confused looking Jamil and a glaring Nate. Thank god they noticed something was wrong. Maybe it was my not closing the front door. That was it. “Who are these two?” Joe ask glaring down at me and grabbing my arm hard as I wince. “Let go of her.” Nate says stepping up to him making Joe smirk. “Oh this is your new boyfriend? Is that why you didn’t want me to come?” he grumbles still holding my arm. I turn to Jamil and Nate actually panicked because he has never acted like this. “I-it’s not like that.” I tell him as his glaring eyes settle on me. “Don’t f*****g lie to me.” He yells Squeezing my arm harder as I wince. “Enough of this.” Nate says charging at him. He snatches me out of Joes grasp before laying a solid punch on the square of his face. Joe grasp his nose letting out a yelp as Nate turns so my body was facing his. “You Okay?” “Yes, thank you.” I mumble as he pulls me into his chest sighing. “Yeah and get the f**k out of here.” Jamil grabs Joe pushing him out the door. “You thought she wanted you back.” “Thank you.” I mumble into Nate chest. It felt safe here and I didn’t want this hug to end. “Grab you’re clothes for tonight, you can get ready at my place.”
