I do the usual and get ready for school. I throw on a cute floral shirt with blue jeans and rush down stairs and out the door knowing that Nate was waiting for me for over 30 minutes now. “Sorry.” I breath brushing my hair out my face. “It’s okay.” He smiles leaning In for a kiss. I lean in as well as he wraps his arms around my body pulling me closer. “Hey baby.” “Hi.” I kiss him. “Let’s go. I don’t want my brother catching us.” “I don’t care.” He shrugs kissing me again longingly this time. We pull away and he start to drive off and towards school. I rest my hand on his lap as he looks over at me with a raised eyebrow. “What?” “Your hand.” He smirks down at my hand and how close it was to his groin. “Oh.” I draw my hand away but he catches it and puts it back. “You don’t have to be hesitant about your actions with me.” He tell me. “Okay.” I smile as we park in the half empty parking lot. Nate pulls me into his lap sending his seat back so there is more room. “So.” He smiles as I lean in. I rather not fight with him about dominance as I let his tongue wiggle into my mouth. But of course we are interrupted when a knock at his widow and we both turn to Jamil waving his hands wildly. “What?” “Um, Tina might need help.” Jamil says through the window. I glance at Nathan before hopping out the car. I run up the building where I see Tina and Erin head on with Magenta and others. “Uh.” I stand behind Erin as I feel Paige tug on my shirt. “What is going on?” “Well, Magenta kind of, spit on Tina?” Paige shrugs sighing. I could see the fright in her eyes. “I hope Tina whoops her ass.” I tell Paige as she shakes her head. “No, I don’t.” “Tina.” I coo pushing her away from Magenta. “Oh well isn’t it the whore.” Magenta sneers as I turn around facing her. “Excuse me?” I glare at her. “w***e, you!” Magenta smirks as Tina starts to actually pull me back and I didn’t realize how close I actually was to her. “You’re brother is in town. We will beat their ass next week.” Tina says as we walk away from Magenta well more of a drag me away from Magenta. “I see why you guys don’t like her.” I grumble shaking my head. “She spit on you? And you let that slide?” “I realize that I can’t put my hands on any and everyone especially in school so.” Tina sighed shrugging. “But if I catch her on the street, it’s really on sight.” “I would hope so.” Erin rolls her neck. “I hate bitches.” ~ “Hey.” I smile at Nathan as Jamil and I leave our first period. He takes my hand into his as I lean into his body. “Ugh, this assignment is so stupid.” Jamil grumbles walking beside us. “It’s so easy. You decided to be an i***t and choose a hard topic.” I laugh as he glares at me. “That’s because you took my idea.” He grumbles folding his arms in front of him. “So what?” I laugh. “Okay conversation with Jamil over.” Nathan says as we reach his locker. “Aww.” I plant a kiss on Nathan cheek as he looks disappointed. “Want another?” “Uh, Yeah.” He smirks. “hey, no more.” Jamil says eyeing us. “You’re love is gross.” “You’re just a hater.” Nathan shrugs kissing me as the other boys arrive. “Oh Mr.Wrath isn’t here today so we have a free period.” Reuben smirks as I groan. “Well is the art room open at least?” I ask as he nods “Yeah whatever you have to do the door is open, there should be his assistant in there.” He shrugs. “Or we can skip class together.” Nathan smirks as I shake my head. “Alex, Please.” “No I missed enough school this week and I need to catch up on Mr.Wraths assignments.” I smile as he starts to walk me to the classroom. It’s so cute how he wants to walk me to every class when we are just going to end up hanging out during the times we transition between classes. He walks me to the open door of the art room peering in. “I don’t see his assistant.” He pulls me closer to his body making me smile as I look up at him. “Me either. Maybe you can stay with me.” I give him a kiss as he nods following me in. He finds a seat and I go over to the cabinet where we have our portfolios. I find mine pulling my latest drawing out and a couple blank canvases. I bring them by where Nathan is sitting Setting them up in front of me. “Oh wow.” He looks at my half done painting smiling. “You’re good.” “Thanks.” I laugh pulling out a piece of paper that Reuben had given me. It was the drawing I had to do and I really shouldn’t have relied on him to actually tell me what I missed in the class. I huff looking down at his shitty handwriting shaking my head. “Yeah Reuben's handwriting it more on the shitty side.” Jake laughs looking at the paper. “That’s draw someone you admire. That’s someone you liv- oh love.” “Oh. Huh.” I smirk at him. “Thanks baby.” “Baby?” He smiles leaning back. “Yeah.” I put up a canvas sighing. Who did I admire? “You could draw me as someone you admire.” He wiggles his eyebrows. “Hmm.” I tap my chin pretending to think. “You know you do.” Nathan pulls my chair closer to his as he leans on in. “I could.” I pick up the pencil before putting it back down. “I don’t know. I’m just glad this isn’t due anytime soon.” “How long are usually the projects?” “A month. Depends on how thoughtful it is.” I tell him as I hit pick up my half down painting of myself and the girls as I continue it. I didn’t realize how time really flew when the bell rings bringing me back into reality. “Wow. I really just watched you draw for 30 minutes.” Nathan smiles helping me pack up. “What got you into wanting to do art?” “Well my mother made us get into a hobby when we were all younger. I chose drawing. Aaron chose football of course and Andy chose baseball. Annie chose dance I think. But she’s not in anything right now.” I shrug putting my canvas back and reaching for my book bag but Nate beat me to it. “Well I’m glad you chose Art.” He takes my hand in his as we head back to his locker to meet up with everyone, once again. ❧ “Aww.” Erin smirks as I roll my eyes. “We spend a lot of time with the boys. I feel like lunch should be our freedom.” I shrug glancing at the boys table to see Nathan watching me with a pout. “Lover boy is obviously not liking that idea.” Tina raises an eyebrow. “Even Jamil. He’s a child.” Paige adds as I laugh nodding. “Okay so homecoming?” Tina ask as we all give her a look. “Homecoming what?” I ask. “Are we getting dates or we going together?” “Totally together. Prom we will worry about dates.”Paige rolls her neck. “Oh this is fun.” I smile. “Yeah that means shopping.” Erin giggles. “Oh never mind.” I slouch in my chair as they laugh. “You’re getting a dress.” Tina shakes me as I roll my eyes. “I’ll think about it.” “No thinking. You’re doing it.” — “Ugh.” I sit in my seat as the boys sit around me. I didn’t understand why they would even let Jamil Lucas and Reuben in the same area anyways. even Nathan. When he was in his non ‘I hate everyone’ mood he was worst than Jamil and I loved every second of it. “I hope Sarah did the work.” Lucas grumbles as we all turn our head to him. “Who is Sarah?” I ask as he looks up from his paper with wide eyes. “Wha-? I didn’t say Sarah I said I hope y’all did the work.” He laughs as I tsk him. “Lying to your besties isn’t a good trait.” Jamil pouts as Lucas rolls his eyes at him. “Leave him alone.” Reuben Points at him. “Yeah okay.” I scoot closer to Lucas wiggling my eyebrows. “Who’s Sarah?” “Well-“ “Hey.” Nathan starts to pull my seat back towards him and I shake my head. “Wait! Lucas is sharing a secret with me.” I exclaim. “Don’t care.” He pulls me back as I look at Lucas smiling. “I’ll tell you later.” “Uh.” A voice through the intercom comes through. “Alex. Her name is Alex stop looking at me.” “Oh no.” I grumble. “Uh I have Alex.” The teacher says glancing at me. “Alex SOS Aaron has lost his mind.” Annie says through the intercom. “Please tell me this is a joke.” I grumble as I stand up and grab my bag. “This isn’t a drill Alex. ALEX THIS ISN'T A DRILL.” “Bye guys.” I start to walk towards the office and realize that they didn’t just buzz one class, they’re buzzing the whole school. I start to run to the office to see all three of them hovered over the intercom. “Please.” I point at them. “Stop it now. You guys are children.” “We aren’t children.” Aaron exclaims leaning over the intercom with a smirk. “Get away from the intercom now.” They back away from the intercom smiling. “Let’s go.” Andy grabs my hand. “No I have school.” I huff. “Isn’t it like the last period or something?” Aaron ask shrugging as I sigh in defeat. “Fine.”
