Shocked at hearing my own voice say that I did a double take. Taking a stumbling step backwards as Ben prowled towards me. He did so like the predator he was. All tanned naked muscles.
My ass bumped into the open car door, swinging it shut, and I fell backwards with a cry. My arms pinwheling. Ben caught me easily. Pulling me upright and against his chest hard, His arms went about me but not in, a soft embrace like earlier. There was nothing gentle about his hands as they roved up and down my back.
There was need and hunger in them, but not gentleness.
